So no Demko and no Lindholm and not using our backup. This is a great team effort that shows they can do it. And it shows how much more we have to look forward to. The refs weren’t too crazy also.

  2. Rahtgooves

The last two years we would have lost 6-4 and been outshot 40-30. This team is not the same. Doomers can fuck off

  3. Stinky_Toes12

Ive seen enough number 6 in the rafters

  4. rengorengar

If only Petey had the consistent effort that Garland gives. Probably more nights where Garlands at least been the 3rd best player on team that night (Miller, Hughes, and Demko have just been too consistent) than Petey has been lol.

Not saying he was terrible today but today was his best game in awhile and that’s just not good enough

That slew foot on Zadorov was dirty! I remember when I thought NHL was cracking down on slew foot and calling game misconducts… nope it was just Hoglander getting that called against him this season.

  6. Nuck_1198

Wait did we clinch home ice? SN reporting that

  7. ovulationwizard

Silovs was shaky as hell but ended strong. Nucks didn’t give them much.

  8. Apprehensive-Tea4881

Did they paste Conor’s head on Tyler’s neck on that shirt? 🤣I love this so much 🥹

i much prefer winning to losing; we should try this again on wednesday and saturday!

  10. Most creative we’ve been offensively in a long time. Good cross ice passes, smart shots with screens, and less predictable plays. Reminded me of the beginning of the season.

Was at the game. Every Canuck looked like they battled like the season was on the line after going down 2-0. They just woke up.

Except for Petey. He battled for net presence but he just seems off entirely. Not sure what it is.

Crowd definitely gave the team that extra push.

The home team wins, at the good old hockey game 🎶

  13. The GWG by Garland is created by a cross ice pass by Soucy (rather than a weak bad angle shot) and then an excellent pass by Joshua – he takes a look before he arrives at the puck – to Miller. Joshua has size and top 6 offensive IQ imo. We need to re-sign him.

I hate these stupid sports interaction commercials, especially the “Americans don’t know shit about hockey so why would you bet with their sports books?”. I mean, wouldn’t you want to bet on hockey with a bookie that wasn’t as good at handicapping the sport and gave you more opportunities to find value on certain bets?

Aside from the milestones mentioned, I thought Mikheyev and Zadorov played really well too!

  16. StocktnSlap209

I started the refs you suck chant on the phantom trip hahaha feeling proud

Give Brock his flowers. Hell of an accomplishment.

These post game callers are unreal

  19. John_E_Canuck

Someone needs to reboot that TimsAFK connor fucking garland song… please

  20. Someone get that now 14-0 guy some playoff tickets!

One of my favourite games to watch all year. Energy was high, milestone after milestone. Garly smiles. It had it all.

  22. natedogjulian

So does the return of Lindholm mess the chemistry that’s brewing?

Dug out of a hole we made ourselves, fought 2 teams (Vegas, the referees) the whole game and came out with a regulation win with an AHL goalie that looked solid the whole game or for most of it at least. Defense was 100% superb after maybe the first 10 minutes. The poke checks we kept doing also contributed to that. The referees I feel really wanted to let Vegas win this one, or maybe Vegas was fooling the referees by flopping all over the place, or both.

Our powerplay was really good in this one. Lots of chaos by Hughes just taking a shot and hoping something happens. And the two times we killed penalties we absolutely destroyed them barely letting them get a strong shot off, but if they did Silvos was there to stop it. (ignore those 2 other goals)

Miller 100 points, Boeser 40 goals, Garland 100 career goals and 400 games played, and Hughes joined Coffey and Orr for 200 assists over 3 seasons. Wow. Big record setting game for us tonight too.

Overall good game, we need to stay consistent though to make sure we keep 1st in our division.

    Did you hear that sound?

That’s the sound of 100 « they can’t beat a playoff team » commenters vanishing into darkness

  25. Federal-Carrot7930

This would’ve likely been a 4-1 game with Demko in net. Not as close as the score would indicate.

  26. 1717subcool

How did Petey look? I missed the game?

  27. Twinbladey

I have a feeling Petey is playing on an injury he’s gonna need offseason surgery for.

  28. julesieee

I love how the Coilers sub has a dedicated game thread for our game and they’re all sooooo salty about our win afterwards 😂👀. Can’t catch us!👋

  29. gamerofdestiny

I’m 3/3 for games I’ve attended this year. The OT win against Boston, the 5-0 blowout against the Jets and now tonight.

Can we like, manifest some playoff tickets for me?… For the good of the team, of course!
I’ll even wear a green leotard if I have to!

  30. ezkc1236

Will enjoy our win over the Knights tonite, will put my hate for them away on Wed, and cheer for them against the Oils.

  31. myluggage2022

I think Petersson is finding his game. The last 2 he’s looked a lot better. Even though he only had a point tonight, he provided some great screens and helped make things happen. He’s still fighting the puck a bit and definitely isn’t at his best, but these games have been a step in the right direction.

  32. Greenarrowfan

I notice the coyotes game is 7:30 why is that?

  33. Tracktoy

Great night in the building. Great energy driven by the Larscheiders.

Garland and Boeser obviously looked great. That awesome hit from Soucy and promising looking effort on the powerplay were the notable highlights from my vantage point.

    Very excited for playoff hockey.

Edited to add. Myk was fucking flying.

  34. Nuck_1198

Legit question, do we ride Silovs till Demmer comes back, or go back to Desmith?
