At this point losing out is much preferable. Give me the 12th pick maybe higher and let the more casual fans realize that we are still very far out from being that consistent cup contending team that we all want to be. Ideally this losing skid also helps the management move off of guys like Laughton, Risto, and maybe even TK.
Even if we win out I’m not sure we would make the playoffs, and let’s be real it would be an ugly 4-5 game series with a couple blowouts from a much superior team.
