Haha I love it. If you’re a Leafs fan anywhere outside Toronto and you can’t laugh at a little ribbing you’re in tough. Used to work in Quebec and one time got into a hockey debate with a client who noticed my Leafs mug. My boss overheard the interaction and when I returned to my office he was putting up an “environmentally sensitive” sign (the ones that are usually reserved for people with perfume allergies etc.). Funny shit.

Same here (also live in lower mainland) sent my kindergartener to school in a Leafs jersey for “spirit day,” got a note from her teacher about “unacceptable attire.” Her teacher and I have become friends and troll each other regularly.
