@Rangers de New York

1. The Rangers were just pissed we beat them. Peter L. Should apologize about his “vicious hit” comment, that was not a vicious hit and neither player saw the other. Mika slew foot Kyle,no call.

  2. Typical rag whining. Rags should worry about their own cheap shot guy trouba. These two are feeling it-a potential first round series and are sending a message. Isles better step things up and show rags some tuff play.

  3. Gil is the GOAT of The Locked On Podcast…(Greatest of all time) not the the type of goat we use on this show hahaha

    LGI

  4. As a hardcore fan of the isles…That was boarding by Noah…surprised Rags fans not annoyed at that more then the Pelech incident…Probably only because of the Rags coach saying something

  5. Gil,you’re welcome. (Clutter) lol. Well I guess we’re do to beat Montreal? But I still won’t be surprised if we don’t show up. Young fast team our kryptonite.

  6. Laviolette didn’t help us win shit when he was the Islanders coach and all of a sudden he loves New York. He’s full of shit.

  7. The whining Rangers and their fans are crying like little school girls again after being frustrated. I mean they are actually thinking they could’ve tied the game last night by begging for another penalty with 10 seconds to go! And they were only in the game courtesy of only PP goals not to mention a penalty shot miss by the Isles. I fact, the Rangers should be glad they ended up winning the first game between them when the Isles gifted losing a 4-1 lead to them in the third period. They can’t be happy just to have stolen that game. A bunch of whining entitled overpaid jackoffs who can’t take a loss like men.

  8. Great perspective, Gil.

Honestly, Laviolette wanted to change the conversation from the Islanders beating the Rangers to him whining about Pelech's hit. Laviolette knows damn well that it was not a dirty hit. For Pete's sake, he coached Chris Pronger, so he should have a birds-eye view of what is a dirty hit or not. Pelech's hit was nowhere close.

  9. Crybaby Pete and the rangers being embarrassed by a much older and slower team. Wouldn’t be shocked that Dolan fires Pete if the Rangers are knocked out in the 1st round especially by the isles ! I didn’t hear a peep from any Ranger fans yesterday, nothing from my former sqd mates, nada from my nephew or brother, lol. All of a sudden Boomer is not gonna dwell on the “vicious deliberate” Pelech hit ! Great take Gil

  10. I used to like Laviolette. I didn’t realize he was such a crybaby. You clearly see that both players weren’t even looking on the pelech hit. I can recall especially in the second period quite a few calls rangers got away with especially the slew foot on palm, missed offsides call. Maybe Laviolette is doing it to spark the team Saturday. I guess Rempe is gonna be in the line up

  11. The more Laviolette says that hits is vicious and with intent to me is more an admission on Zibanejad’s slewfoot on Palm in the second was intentional

  12. I'm convinced Lav was on edge waiting for the payback for Mika' vicious slew foot on Kyle and convinced himself that was it.
Lav going all silent Karen in that interview is hilarious. That long pause as if he's about to start crying was way overdone. He's been around the league a long time and has seen a lot worse. If he doesn't come to his senses by Saturday he'll cause his team to lose focus and they'll lose again. Rempe has been out of the lineup because he can't play hockey very well. If Karen want's to put Rempe in to get revenge, he'll have to take a hockey player out of the lineup, and that's good for us. Rempe will quickly do something stupid and get tossed. No way Dobson or Pelech fight anyone over a minor boarding or collision, much less fight a giant like Rempe.

  13. Good 🌄, Gil, how are you? Ì saw that on ESPN, and I didn't think it was dirty, but Peter Laviolette, who used to Coach The Islanders in 2001-2003, had to put in a statement. Patrick Roy's right the hit at mid ice was an accident, but the hit behind the that Noah Dobson was borderline, and like I said yesterday, if Noah Dobson is smart, HE'D BETTER START ACTING LIKE RIP WHEELER and Rempe needs a reminder that HE'S NOT DAVE SCHULTZ, especially since he's still a rookie. Cal Clutterbuck 🤙a team meeting, and afterwards, he gave them a message stay steady, stay focused. The Islanders are in Montreal tonight, even though they're not The High Flying Frenchman, like they used to be, The ISLANDERS SHOULDN'T UNDERESTIMATE THEM, and they know it. They've got The Rangers on Saturday afternoon. Even though he left Montreal on a very bad 🗒, Patrick Roy is still very well ❤ by the fans. HAPPY 🎂, TOMAS JONSSON. Hear from you tomorrow, Gil, and LET'S GO ISLANDERS.

  14. Where's Scott Mayfield? He can take on Remke. 6 foot 8, average fighter. I wanna drop the gloves with him.

  15. When did the Rangers and their fans become crybabies…. oh yeah… since the dawn of time. Dobson should have been called for boarding but Mika skated into Pellech… it's his own fault.

  16. Watched Brian Boyle former Ranger say he didn’t think it was dirty. He says he has braced himself to absorb a check and the guy crashes into him and he flew off and hit the boards and was knocked out. You never know about contact. Laviolette losing his mind for no reason. I hope Rempe doesn’t come out to hurt somebody. They will probably go after him with someone. Beat MTL tonight. Don’t desperately need the Ranger win at MSG. Oh and ZBJ slew-footing Palms. He could have bounced on his head. And the NHL loves fights on national TV let’s be honest. Also you know what was a good play that helped turn things a little? McClean showing his speed and beating the Ranger to negate that icing. I think McClean will get better and better. Happy Birthday Thomas!
