    He had a shitty game. 6 GA on 1.87 xGA. It happens, but it’s playing out the meaningless games time so who cares? Maybe he was trying out new equipment, or he had the runs, who cares really.

    The Leafs have gotten .897SV% of worse in 37 of 79 games.

    6 games between .898 and .911, that’s actually pretty crazy.

    We’re in the playoffs, this game nor the rest really don’t matter.

    Samsonov (and 90%) of the other goalies are allowed to have a stinker here and there. He didn’t have a great game but he’s been fine since he got back. Remember he makes $3.5 million, if we go by goalies pay, he’s not even middle of the pack. He’s in the bottom 8 of goalies. Sammy gets a pass for the occasional poor performance. Plus, it’s not like the Leafs are playing a tight defensive game.

    The only goalies not allowed to have off games are Vasilevsky and Bobrovsky. Making $9 million plus doesn’t make me sympathize for them.
