I certainly did not expect Gostisbehere to turn into a nervous wreck for the last half of the season after he started off so well

60 points out of Matheson on that MTL team is impressive. I think he’s the only defenseman other than maybe Dahlin in the past 8-9 years to hit 60 points on a team as bad as this year’s Habs.

I expected him to be absolutely trash pants until his contract was up, and he started the year really poorly, up until Sweden, and he’s mostly completely turned it around since then. Nobody was more surprised that I wanted him next to Seider when Walman was out more than me.
