Detroit media is super soft, they ask the easiest softball questions, coaches and players have no accountability. Really starting to sour on this coaching staff, think theyve used what maybe 1 time out all season?! Cmon. Theres 100 examples this season we could look back on where it would have make sense and maybe changed the momentum of a game, and a couple Ls turned into Ws and theyve clinched a spot by now. Hope Steve has nightmares about those Ls to arizona and makes some changes.

Wings are giving it all they got, but this is a roster of a fringe playoff team and they’re exactly in the position that their roster dictates.
Tanguay needs to go been saying it for a couple years now. Also need to get rid of a good majority of these old slow veteran players. Time to take the next step even if we do manage to make the playoffs.
PIT, WSH, and PHI have to lose at least once if Detroit wins out. PHI and WSH have to lose one of their next two games, because one is guaranteed two points when they play next Tuesday.
You lose 7 in a row when you were solidly in the playoffs and look like a completely different team. They don't deserve the playoffs IMO.

Horrible deployment in OT and on the PP. I just don’t get it. Another missed call leading to a goal. Raymond blossoming is a real treat though. Playoffs or not, Razor is demonstrating that he’s a top 6 guy in this league and taking huge strides in his game. If we can address our shortcomings this summer I am confident we will be more consistent next year. These last 20 games have just been painful.

if Lalonde had played Larkin Kane DeBrincat as the top line the past 2 games (and next 3) the team would have won both games, would make the playoffs, and might even steal some games vs NY. and Kane very well might have come back.
now the playoffs are in serious doubt and Kane will not even be taking Yzerman's calls this offseason.
Detroit has the easiest strength of schedule between the Caps, Pens and Flyers for that last wildcard spot. I think there is plenty of hope to hold on to.
