Locked On Penguins, This is awesome! I subscribed because I want to see more!

  2. Alex Nedeljkovic in the last 3 games:
    4 GAA
    0.862 SV%
    -3.16 Goals Saved Above Expected

Ned needs to rest. Jarry needs to warm up for the playoffs.
Ned had a 5 GAA and 0.808 SV% in his 2 games against the Bruins this year.
I believe Jarry is up to the job next game! Let's support him!

  3. If nothing else, the penguins have given me some serious serotonin dumps these last couple weeks, putting me in some very good moods, and that’s what it’s really all about isn’t it? 😃

So disappointed in myself that I gave up on this team a month ago. I was just so frustrated 😅

  4. Roller Coaster game. A lot of good, but some negatives. The negatives are more so untimely turnovers and situational awareness. Letang needs to be better with the puck and Karlsson, better situational awareness.

They need to get back to defending how they did against Carolina and against Washington. I give this team credit, no quit on them. I would've loved for a regulation win and I feel The Penguins gifted The Red Wings a point, but it's all about points and as the late Al Davis says, "just win baby" which is what they are doing.

  5. Still crazy to think that everyone was debating whether to keep or give up the first rounder just a little while ago 😅

  6. I would say if there is one person that wants playoff redemption, it's Tristan Jarry. I know he wants to redeem himself from that Islanders series. If first half Jarry, like you said Hunter can return, then that can be huge for this team.

  7. I have no voice from the game last night boys. What a game. It’s a shame we had to blow two goal leads AGAIN, but thankfully got the OT win for once. Thanks Sabres also for beating the caps. Damn you Habs for losing to the isles!

  8. Although I love the win, it almost feels a bit bittersweet hunter. Don’t get me wrong I’m happy they won. But consider up 2 goals at home with 7 min to go. A regulation win would have increased their playoff chances a lot, especially considering Detroit plays Montreal twice.! Do you think they get in hunter?

  9. DOC!!! getting them started. It awesome to see him getting dirty (area) goals. Buntings rubbing off. I couldn't believe that burst of speed by carter, he must have been saving that all season.

  10. I'm on board with Jarry vs the B's. He usually plays well against them and if ned is getting worn then we will need Jarry to be sharp (especially if we make the playoffs).

  11. Big game by everybody. Very intense game. Letang and EK65 scored. Big game by 87 and Rust. Even BIG Jeff Carter had a shortie. Ned made enough saves. We now hold the wild card by 1 point and trail the NYI by 3 points with 3 games left. Looks like a wildcard berth if we hold our position.

  12. I do agree with hunter 100% about starting ned on Saturday instead of Tristan. I’d prefer a best chance at winning if they can pull out a win that’s an extra insurance cushion for next week and it won’t matter if they loose one next week. If his numbers are that good against Nashville that’s when I’d toss him out there and if he gets a win that’s bonus and pens would have a very good chance at making the playoffs.

  13. I got a relax reminder from my watch last night 😂

I understand putting Jarry in net on Saturday. I believe his biggest shortcoming is confidence. If he can get hyped up for the Bruins, a few clutch saves and a supportive defense will have him riding high.

I also want to see 1-on-1 coverage of Pasta any time he's on the ice. He should never receive an uncontested puck. Do not give that man any chance to shoot!

  14. They are resting Letang a lot for practice lately. I wonder if something is wrong health wise? With his history, I really hope it's not related to past strokes or neck related.

  15. I think at this point the Pens just are who they are … very flawed, but also not giving up. I assumed a few weeks ago that we would be watching our draft lottery position at this point, so this is just gravy. Sit back and enjoy the ride … consider every game a playoff game. Last night was pretty close to a game 7.

  16. The rangers have just been previewing the first round exit they’re going to do

  17. Wasn't Ned best but still got the win. Jarry shouldn't see the net. Want to give Ned a break? Give the kid in WB a shot, but only if they lock a spot before the last game. If all goes well it'll be him and Ned anyway.

  18. Hopefully, one of the things on Dubas' list, for the offseason, based entirely on this season, is a new goaltending coach, with a focus on rebound control. That has been a very noticeable thing, for me, about both Ned and Jarry…too many fat rebounds setting up solid scoring opportunities for the opposition, because the Pens D can't block anyone out.

  19. Let's say, for the sake of it, Jarry shuts out Boston, putting him all alone in the league lead, and plays well in Nashville. You still give Ned the Islanders game, because of how the Islanders have, historically figured out how to score early and often against Jarry.
I think that Sully goes with "the hot hand" in net, for the playoffs, keeping Ned in net, unless he has a meltdown game. It's what he did, in the Cup runs, playing Murray over Fleury. You could see Jarry getting a game, or two, if Ned's not sharp.
The most important thing is to NOT have those stupid defensive breakdowns.
