Crosby is a legend. Being #10 all time points leaders in the modern NHL is phenomenal. His longevity is insane. I hope he plays another 3 years
man as much as crosby annoys me, I have to give him the utmost congratulations on hitting 1,000 assists. He sure does deserve it. I mean as much as i dislike him , I do deep down respect him and every fan whether they like or hate him have been blessed to have seen him dominate the league for as long as he has and all the things he has accomplished. Rivalries crosby has had in the league with other guys in his generation like Ovechkin and Stamkos will certainly live on for decades to come once and who knows if we will ever see this kind of talent or fierce rivalry again once he is done.

Derek Lalonde for putting this line out there on an o-zone draw (you put Kane out w possession, no exceptions) and Gostisbehere for whatever tf that was, way to go guys. Kane lacks the speed and obviously gets beat to the net at the beginning of this, but after that he makes common sense defensive decisions and goes back to his man/area. What is Gostisbehere doing?
Still rather see Ovechkin and the Caps make it over Pittsburgh. But, it'll come down to the wire.

Only fitting Sid's 1000th career assist came on an OT winner for a game with potential huge implications. For Erik Karlsson, definite redemption from a bad third period by him. Also, Karlsson was one game off from a having a dramatic ending he scores an OT winner in game 999.
Karlson is why they went to OT after a 5-3 lead. Good thing he scored.
