edit: the accidental ‘e’ seems poetic enough for me to leave it

Lanks did have some crazy saves but for the most part that looked like a walk in the park for the boys. I hope Fill can get 50 somehow here at the very end

The Blackhawks do indeed still suck.

  4. That was a great game guys! Chicago obviously sucks ass, but sweeping the season series against them is amazing. I don’t know if we’ve ever done that. If we did, it must’ve been a long time ago.

Feels good to dominate them year in and year out, and essentially be the reason the Kane and Toews era ended. They truly haven’t been the same since we swept them. Also really happy for Fil! Hopefully the boys can have another great game tomorrow. I’d love to get 100 points.

I love watching a game knowing playoffs are locked. Nice break for my anxiety before the real fun starts.

Always satisfying to get a win against Chicago.

They’ll have a couple more games to fight for it, but do y’all think Glass or Beau wins the starting spot for playoffs?

My theory… hat guy is Kevin. He didn’t want to throw his hat on the ice too good. Waiting to peak for the playoffs.

Who do we want first round?

I think I’d rather play Dallas from a competition aspect, but if I’m being honest I kind of want to play the Canucks so I have an excuse to burn some travel miles and PTO to see a game in their barn.

I know it was against the hawks but 3/3 on the powerplay is pretty freakin sweet.

3 points from 100 points with 2 games to play, i think we can do it

Last year, some guy at The Athletic wrote a story saying the Blackhawks suck now but at least we’re not the Predators. How does that look now? That’s what I was thinking about as I watched the game.

Chicago won the lottery, got Bedard, and tried to basically do the same thing the Preds did: sign guys like Taylor Hall and Foligno and jump up to at least fight for a wild card spot. It didn’t work out.

Some of Chicago’s young players look pretty good and things don’t look so terrible overall but it has largely been a wasted year where the only real goal has been to get a draft pick again.
