Nice game for bratt to cap off an 82 point and counting season. Looking at our top scorers, everyone is basically playing to where they should be, even Meier has brought his season back to where he should be after a miserable start. A full season of everybody should be Hughes 100 bratt 80 hischier 80 Meier 70. Then guys like Hamilton and Hughes could hit 65 and 50 no problem. Then Mercer bouncing back and holtz progressing after a true full season and the offence is set.
Just some solid defensive depth additions, and health luck and the devils are going to be right back into it next season. Obviously the goalie is the biggest thing, but I think somebody will be available this summer and a platoon with Allen will do wonders. A lot rides on some moves that need to happen, but the core of this team still stacks up with any up and coming team.
With this win, the road team has won the last 6 games between these teams. Kind of crazy, but I also follow the Leafs, and they’re a better road team as well, so it’s not too surprising lol.

We are so back
Defense is still so horrible, thank god Jake Allen came in clutch yesterday. I’m willing to give siegs a slight pass since he’s been so good in the past and has been on and off the ice for a while but Marino has also regressed a lot and it’s concerning to see such awful performances by our team in the defensive aspect. Need another vet to bolster the defense, and maybe some defensively minded forwards as well
Shango has more goals than Meier this year for way less money. Fitz had a bad year too.
That GWG from Bratt is one of the best individual efforts I’ve seen all season. The man just willed it into existence.
Nice win, but I’m so sick of watching us get physically beat up. Everyone other than Mac keeps getting pumbled. We are on the wrong end of everyone else’s highlight reels too many times.
How does no one on this team send a message to Domi after he jumped Nemec like that. Other than Mac and maybe Smith I don’t think anyone is even capable to.
Am beyond disappointed MacDermid stood there and watched Nemec get pummeled. Don’t care about third man in. What, would we miss his 5 minutes of ice time?
Supposedly a great team guy but all he accomplished during his time here is getting four of his teammates beaten up by failing to deal which Rempe immediately after the hit on Seigenthaler.
