It’s funny that when expected metrics like us is when we struggle to score. Panarin has come up big every time we have needed a goal this year. Just a completely different player then last year. Which is why I am not worried about him in the playoffs

I think I’m why we had a hard time winning these last 3 games. We have a hard time breaking records as a team. The longest win streak couldn’t be broken and we struggled with most wins in a season. Now the monkey is off our backs I am thinking we should be fine

We’re number one baby
Huge win, keeps the pressure on Carolina and Boston but that Islanders team is going to be tough to play against. We’re obviously a more skilled team, we can control possession but they’re much better in front of our net than we are in front of theirs. They had a ton of second and third chance rebound shots and it seems like we were getting a lot from the perimeter but we couldn’t get to those dirty greaseball pucks. I still think we would win a series vs them because our special teams is head and shoulders better than theirs but I don’t think we would smoke that team.
