The Torts haters can pound sand. There's always a sizable chunk of Philly fans who loudly champion a seriously bad take. They are it. It's all about the rebuild. Where will this team be 2 yrs from now when Michkov is here? After he's had a year to acclimate? All of that is much more important than making the playoffs this season – though I really hope they do. Torts & his guys are doing a great job developing the kids & setting a standard that left when Mr. Snider passed. Lastly, who would you rather have now – Caufield or York & Brink? Flahr knows what he's doing, folks.

The 8-game losing streak had some bad luck in it too. At times when other areas worked, goalie played abysmally bad. Now Ersson looks really solid again. We might miss the playoffs with one point, but it has still been a good year thanks to Torts. Not sure where we'd be with over .900 opening goalie like practically every other team has.
The Washington game will be like a game seven 🙂
