  1. i can't be happier to see this tire fire of a franchise be moved. what an absolute shambles that management was. an embarrassment of a professional hockey club given far far too many chances. that being said, being from winnipeg i have always held some vitriol for that franchise. but i do know what the fans are going through. this league is watered down enough though, and there's absolutely no reason to expand the league further, especially into american markets. hockey gets fourth billing, and sometimes not even that, in sports illustrated. i'm sure it gets edged out further if college ball is on. and if the economy keeps going the way it has, professional sports will see contraction, if not a total collapse. that of course being further hindered by thousand dollar ticket prices on the stub hubs of the world.

  2. As a currently not sober avs fan if the yotes become the fucken utah yetis or the utah blizzards im gonna fucking revolt not shot, utah yotes is good we need our yeti foot back so badt if the yotes became the yetis id be so fucking sad

  3. there are tons of coyotes in utah, they shouldnt change the name at all… the name fits in utah as much as it did in az…. and why are ypu making a positive into a negative?? this is what the NHL should do instead of expanding… i am so happy that they relocated a team instead of expanding. their are so many shit markets in the nhl that bettman lets rot instead of relocating… i donno man, normally i like your videos but you this is thee best thing the nhl has done in forever and you seem to shit on it…

  4. The Coyotes will move to Utah and then in a few years the NHL will expand again into Arizona and Atlanta despite previous failures. This will be disgusting lmao.

  5. It was announced that the Coyotes brand is staying in Arizona and will likely be activated when they get their expansion franchise. So, no Utah Coyotes. However, i like the name i hav3 been hearing..Utah Swarm.

  6. Being a fan who grew up in Utah, I’m really excited for NHL hockey to come here so we can finally show how good the hockey market is! The Grizzlies are a fun team to watch and that barn is always buzzing, can’t wait to see how it plays out.

I like the Utah yeti and the Salt lake Barracuda

  7. They won't be called the Coyotes. Arizona owner will keep the name in case they try to get an expansion team within 5 years. This team moved there from Winnipeg. They didn't feel bad for the Winnipeg fans that lost their team.

  8. Why cant they just share the arena with the Suns? Has that never been an option? Genuinely wondering. It was all down hill once they departed from Phoenix

  9. Utah Rock

It has a great double meaning. It represents the Utah arches and rock formation famous in the state, plus its a music genre so it works alongside the Jazz. Plus it's an NLL team so its proven viable team name.

  10. I say go with Yeti’s. Bettman is so horny for hockey in AZ that they will probably be back In Arizona eventually and then they can bring back the Yotes

  11. Seiously, they have had a hard time selling out their college arena. We can make jokes at their fan base, because they really don't have any.

  12. Do minorities on the new Utah team really wanna live in Utah. They don’t have a great track record with minorities.

  13. Not sure I understand the potential return story: would it be the same team returning, or a completely different group of players with the same logo..? I guess the latter?

As for a Utah team name, the Utah Yeti seems to be the best so far. I like the bee 🐝 theme but hard to get that into a name. The Utah Stingers? The Utah Honey Monsters? Doesn’t really work.

  14. Just like the Atlanta Thrashers – its a big city, there's a loyal fanbase, and the market is there. The problem is 100% on ownership
