Standings aren’t locked Florida is only 1 point back and has the tiebreaker on Boston lmao
What this means is if Boston loses against Ottawa in any way (OT/SO or reg) and Florida beats us, we face Boston.
As always, we only have to beat ourselves. We can beat Boston or Florida. But only if we bring our best.
Either team is fine; if I were to choose, I’d say Boston because F Boston. I hate Florida too but thats more recent; Boston is long-term hatred.
Doesn’t matter to me if we draw Florida or Boston.
The real season is about to begin. Just win, baby. Win pretty, win ugly, I literally don’t care.
I think we’re in a really good spot.
We just need to figure out,
a) how to score in the playoffs
b) how to prevent back breaking untimely goals
c) special teams
d) how not to turn the puck over at the blue line
Plenty of time to figure that stuff out.
Playoffs are simple.
Step 1. Score a goal
Step 2. Don’t allow a goal against for the next few shifts
Step 3. Don’t take a penalty during Step 2
Step 4. GOTO Step 1
Throw it all out the window if the refs are shit though.
