They can lose OT and still make it if Wash n Detroit both lose in reg. If Pitt wins they just need OT losses at best.
The problem is.coach plays people that don't need to play,,no carter after tomorrow. No more harkins,no more smith,an a few other people I hope.let the kids play..
I don't want to make a full comparison, but this reminds me of the Steelers 22-23 season. The things that are working are working, but it could be too late, however, spirits are high because it's good stuff.
Next year looking good. Here would be my plan. Move on from Jarry by any means necessary. Somehow he’s gotta be traded which he didn’t do god awful so shouldn’t be very hard. Next hand that deal directly to Ned. Next order of business tell Jeff Carter he doesn’t have to go home but he’s no longer welcome here. Thanks for the good moments right after the trade…. That’s about all we got. The rest I don’t care but those two are the first two orders of business!

Bring Jake back, trade Jarry for a prospect or pick. Sign a stay at younger middle winger for Carter's salary and trade Graves for a younger Dman. Then replace Reirden.
I kept telling people all year about all the OT games . Everybody said oh well , at least they got one point . All of those OT games they only got one point is killing them now .
If the players wouldn't have took their little baby fit when Jake left they might have been better off .
