Considering Kucherov has 1 less Assist with 11 more goals… it's not as impressive as media makes it out to be. still impressive, but #2 is never as impressive as #1
People really trying to downplay an achievement, no one is saying kucherov wont do it, their just saying 100 assists is great, and if kucherov does get 100 assists, then its great for him to

The amount of hate McDavid gets is just insane. I don't get how people find the energy for it. It's the same stuff Ovechkin had to deal with as well until he won his cup. Michael Jordan was described as the greatest basketball player ever – beforee his first NBA title. Lionel Messi was seen as the best soccer player ever – before he won the World Cup. The Mount Rushmore idea is based on a combination of statistical/individual achievement, team achievement and passing the eye test. McDavid has put up insane numbers and individual achievements. He definitely more than passses the eye test – he's arguably the most perfect/complete player I've ever seen. He now just needs to get a cup and shut all his haters up. Appreciate the greatness while you can folks.
