I bet this has to kill Leafs fans knowing this 'inspiring' chant has been wholly turned against them, and they can only blame themselves for their cockiness. Sure, there must have been an overwhelming sense of relief involved, breaking this curse, but a chant like that, especially against a team that beat the other team that beat THEM all the time in the playoffs was pure Torontonian idiocy of the highest order.

As a Leaf fan, I’m ashamed of todays youth for setting off this chain of mockery against our fanbase, I’m 17 and I still think it’s stupid that they had the nerve to chant that, college kids are the dumbest of the dumb.
