  1. Avs in 5? Dude has not done his research. That series could go either way but there's a 6 game minimum for it
Zero goals for the mvp would be really funny though

  2. I love you apply logic when it suits your biases

"The Caps and Rangers split their season series so the Caps have a 50% of winning" (1st place vs Wild Card)
    but….
The Islanders WON their season series vs Carolina so "they have a 10% of chance of winning" (2nd place vs 3rd place)

  3. winning in 4 or 5 doesn't mean the teams are not evenly matched… just puck luck sometimes happens and a team can seemingly take 4 close games and it doesn't have to be in 6 or 7. EVEN teams doesn't always equal 7 games.

  4. You failed to mention the Caps has one of (if not) the worst Goals Differential for a playoff team in history. They can't get enough goals for the goals that they will allow by a pretty large margin. The Islanders are also bad but not as bad. TB has allowed more goals but they have enough scoring up front to make up for it. The Rangers have two lines that can score, proven goalies, the d "isn't bad". They have all the check marks in this match up vs the Caps. If the Caps don't get swept, it will be a win for them.

  5. Toronto only knows how to play 7 games in the 1st round. And if Boston can throw the last 2 games, then it wouldn't suprise me that they force game 7 just for the tradition/meme

  6. The way the last two weeks of the season played out was crazy, it looked like teams were going backwards, Washington making the playoffs is insane, the whole year thry looked not great, but hockeys a funny game, you never know how its going to go

  7. Avs in 5 is maybe the worst take I've seen from any creator regarding this playoffs.

Jets have had Avs number all season.

The Jets could run theyre back up and not Vezina clear cut favourite Helly, and Brossoit is still the goaltending battle favourite, by a mile.

That's on top of the Jets being one if the stingiest teams in the NHL.

Thats on top of having arguably the best 3rd line in hockey. They shut down offences and have popped off for 100 points total.

The Avs are extremely top heavy on scoring, if their big 3 aren't producing?

More than half of the avs roster has netted fewer than 20 points.

While the Jets saw 2/3s of their roster produce 20 or more.

Even on the topmend of production. 8 avs with 30 points or more, 12 for the Jets.

Unless the Avs big 3 absolutely backpacks that team, suddenly finds a way to make Georgiev into a better goaltender, and solve the best starting goalie (and best starter/back up tandem)?

    Avs in 5? Not likely.
