I’m just gonna say straight up right now that if Steven Stamkos leaves Tampa and that’s a big if because I don’t think he will do it willingly, but if he hast to go anywhere, he’s going to Montreal simply because of Martin St. Louis and the influence he had on Steven Stamkos in his early career. Not to mention, we also know stamkos heavily trusts St. Louis process on approaching hockey. I can only imagine how he feels about him coaching the habs
Don't need him thx the habs I mean 😅😅!!!!
Take him please detroit 😊😊😊thx
Great player but too old for the Habs timeline. Happy to see him in Detroit though.
Maybe something to look in, didn’t stammer almost get traded or signed with the wings sometime in the late 2010s?
Not the good timing from Mtl and anyway, Stamkos wanna win another Cup.
OR, maybe Stamkos liked playing for Lalonde in Tampa, and would like to again in Detroit.
Knowing are luck he'll end up in Vegas
I prob would cry if we had cane and stam on the same roster for 2 years in detroit. ❤😂😅😊
He's too old for Montreal. Sure, it would make the Habs better, but it wouldn't speed up the rebuild, it would more just take it out of sync. Habs need a player that's gonna be better in 5 years, not worse.
You made this rumor up. Stop it lol. Imagine if the red wings resign Kane and add Stamkos? That could be fun.
Okay there’s no way he’s leaving that Tampa team. No chance!!
He’s too old for Habs. Not a retirement home. Send him to the leafs for an 8 x 11m contract
If the Red Wings don't resign Kane, I could see them wanting to sign Stamkos. However, I don't think he will be leaving Tampa Bay.
I can't believe there are people still listening to and watching your video's after putting out the video about Larkin being out for the season and possibly for his career… you're a hack and a click baiter dude and you should be ashamed. whether this has any merit at all you're a joke.
Thanks for putting rumor in the title
nah hope the habs keep building no need for that at this time. Way too old Zegras I would not mind so much but Stamkos nope
Doesn’t even make sense
Habs stay focus on building ! We don’t need anyone !
To be a true Cup contender, the Habs probably need veteran presence of Stamkos calibre. But the tax advantage in Tampa is too tempting for Stamkos to stay with the Lightning.
If Stam and drai both end up in Montrael. Wow
I hope not. Tried that crap years ago by taking #4. We don’t need another old leftovers from tampa
I dont think mtl , mtl needs a good YOUNG player not a guy on his way out.
yzerman turning detroit into a retirement home 😭
TB only has about $11M in space to sign 7 players. If they sign 6 at the minimum, they'll have about $5M to lock up Stamkos. Not enough meat on the bone to get that done.
Pay more taxes and winter or sunny florida and no taxes? Hmmmm
Habs have to deal with what they have in the system now before they start trading prospects to make room for Stamkos!
Montreal is still a few years out in the rebuild. Fits in Detroit if they can resign Kane with potentially Compher on the other wing. That would give them a missing piece behind Larkin for a few seasons and should be enough to get them in the playoffs coupled with a goalie upgrade.
Absolutely not. Unless we're getting him on free agency and giving up nothing other than salary.
Cost is going to be too much, we have other needs
Stammer and Kane has me feeling tingly
No thanks
Lmfao you think we’re letting stamkos go??? GET REAL
Patrick Kane and Stamkos on Detroit as the second line would be pretty great for Detroit and I'm not a Detroit fan. Boston, Toronto, Colorado have been competitive teams but I'm missing having Detroit and new jersey in the mix.
Stamkos and Kane sounds cool together but at this age both are done with any type of back checking ore defense. You can really have one of those guys.
Zero chance Habs are looking for any mid 30's vets on their way out…..can you say YOUTH!!
stamkos needs to come to montreal to take the captain from sazuki.. if that happens the habs would be contenders next year!!!!! sazuki although he is our best player, he isnt a leader or captain material. he would move over for a veteran captain like stammer or traveris or a tkacuck
I literally said a few days ago I wouldn't be surprised if Stevie went after Stamkos considering we have no 2nd line right now. Stamkos would be crazy to leave Florida for Detroit lol but imagine if Stevie can talk him into it and we resign Kane🥶
There is no way MTL is taking an older player at that price…. HUGO made it clear that THEY will not sign an expensive player especially if they need to dish out a long term contract. Cap space is needed to for contract extensions on Ghule and Slav and Wifi, and cap space is required for a big move this year.
Not good fit for mtl or stamkos he would want too go cup contender
It would be interesting if the Wings can't find common ground with Kane to (not literally, but metaphorically) trade him out for Stamkos. You're basically getting the same type of player, albeit with subtle yet defined differences, and would fill the role of "all-star offensive guidance for young bucks" that Kane filled so well for guys like Raymond and Debroincat. It'd definitely be time to dip into cap savings though.
Stamkos wants to stay in Tampa, I'm betting he'll take a massive pay cut to stay.
With that said, I'd love for Detroit to bring him in on a 2 year deal, cuz I dont think kane is coming back.
He’s not leaving Tampa. Also, don’t forget Yzerman hardballed him and let him go test free agency before signing him.
Enough with the ex-superstars in Montreal
A bit too expensive for a veteran to show the way to the young ones at Mtl
No way the habs do this..
Stamkos in between Kane and DeBrincat, even for one year would be fun to watch.
Too old, poor choice. Poor match for the timeline for Habs.
He’s gonna join Killorn in sunny California
