Je suis avant tout un fan des Golden Knights de Vegas, mais j’ai besoin d’une équipe de la conférence Est pour s’investir davantage dans l’autre moitié de la ligue. J’ai fait des recherches et des expériences avec diligence avec diverses équipes, mais cette semaine, nos techniciens de laboratoire ont fait une percée et ont découvert que les Leafs étaient l’option la plus viable. Permettez-moi de partager une justification scientifique approfondie expliquant pourquoi les Leafs sont objectivement la meilleure équipe à soutenir dans l’Est : 1. Vous aviez auparavant Phil the Thrill. 2. Vous avez actuellement Ryan Reaves. 3. Vos pulls sont sans doute les meilleurs de la ligue, même si tant de gens prétendent à tort que Chicago possède les meilleurs maillots. 4. Shoresy se déroule en Ontario. 5. J’ai trouvé cette photo d’Auston Matthews et il a l’air d’être un gars cool. Ambiance solide. Il a lancé les dés sur la moustache et ça semble marcher. J’ai aussi l’impression qu’il pourrait s’intéresser au van art. 6. 69 buts. Bon. 7. J’apprécie la bière Labatt. 8. Toronto a donné au monde Rick Moranis *et* John Candy. Enfin, et c’est peut-être la raison la plus impérieuse de faire bouger les Leafs, votre succès semble immédiatement apporter de la douleur dans la LNH et le hockey. Leur douleur m’apporte de la joie, et je ne vois pas de moyen de les bouleverser plus qu’un SCF VGK/Leafs. Cela étant dit, avez-vous publié un guide du débutant ou une sorte de brochure promotionnelle qui puisse m’apprendre les bases pour être un fan occasionnel des Leafs ? Dois-je aimer Paul Bissonnette?

I can relate, I was never much of a two team guy but the Knights are the team I want to succeed if the Leafs don’t.
Visited LV and the southwest for the first time in summer 2022. What a city, and damn I learned I absolutely love the desert.
Headed back in January last year for my 40th, took the kid, he fell in love with the grand canyon. Sadly no Knights games while we were in town.
Will be back next season for the Leafs game for sure.

The moments of pain can be almost physically felt, but the highs that this team can achieve are so worth it and that’s without them ever winning a cup in my lifetime. The classic Leaf thing is we always win games we shouldn’t, and lose games we should win, so hopefully the underdog status throughout the playoffs is good. Also any former Leaf will always score against the leafs. Any player on a slump will usually break it against the Leafs. And teams on a losing streak will always win. My theory on that is the media and pressure in TO for the team/players. Also any suspension against the Leafs will be historically about 2-3x more intense than a player on another team (Fuck George Parros). The Leafs also seem to take a major suspension or major injury in round 1 of the playoffs. Seems to be Nylander in game 1 this year…
Regardless of the leafs playoff success we are currently watching a player (AM34, The Big Cactus, Papi, or just Auston Matthews, if you’re not into the whole brevity thing) that will go down as the greatest leaf ever, greatest goal score in league history, and best American born hockey player ever. And then if that wasn’t even a thing, Marner and Nylander are playing themselves into top 10-20 Leafs all time conversation. They’re certainly there statwise at a young age. It’s a special time to watch Leafs hockey and regardless of some people/media chatter, were lucky to be witnessing it. The only thing that would make it better is the Cup.
Welcome aboard! I went to a knights game against the leafs last year and the fans I was around were so nice. I spent the whole 3rd period chatting with a local who was next to me. They do love hockey there. GLG!

This is amazing and while I do really like the sharks in the west (which makes it feel wrong to cheer for Vegas) they’re not in the playoffs this year so fuck it, why not the knights.
The only part you lost me on was liking Labatt’s. That’s a bit questionable, but I’ll let it slide.
