If I was a Coyote’s fan I’d be happy about this.

« it will be eligible for all of the other local media blackouts the NHL has »

  3. dbag3o1

Honestly, just give all residents of Arizona free access to nhl center ice so they can watch any game they want.

  4. imaskising

So does this mean Channel 61 will show Utah games OTA next season, or will this be something where we have to pay for a cable, satellite or streaming service?

  5. AlwaysDMB

Lol they mean the games will actually be blacked out in two markets? Thaaaanks…

  6. But they’ll be blacked out in SLC 👍🏽

  7. someguyfromsk

I think they might pick up more fans if it was also broadcast everywhere, but that goes against the NHL logic of growing the game by not letting anyone watch it.

  8. Prairie2Pacific

Also, have you read the book of Mormon? We’d like to talk to you about Joeseph Smith…

  9. tcrex2525

Judging by how salty my parents still are about the Colts leaving Baltimore in 1984, this move seems pretty out of touch… 😂🤷‍♂️

  10. Snow-Wraith

Not like they watched when the team was there, doubt they’ll watch now.

  11. Assumption-Straight

As a yote’s fan. I understand “our” team is moving. But it’s Utahs now… I won’t naturally have a team anymore so I could care less if they keep or restart. I would assume they’d start fresh

  12. notyomamasusername

I mean If they rebranded at the Southwest Coyotes maybe they could keep them?

  13. Monksdrunk

UTAH fans will be SOAKING in anticipation

  14. As a Seattle Supersonics fan my whole life until they left, I hate-watched the Thunder for the first year or two and then completely gave up on the league after that. I don’t watch the NBA ever now.

    Phoenix owes them nothing.

  15. yportnemumixam

I’m sure all three of them will be happy with this.

  16. TinnieTa21

So kinda like taunting them by showing them their ex that has moved on? Seems cruel lol.

  17. NY-Black-Dragon

As much as this makes sense, I almost feel like it’s salt in the wound.

  18. odinmercer

They’re just keeping the same broadcast rights as before. It was on Utah 16 and Arizona 61 as Utah was in the Coyotes and Avs blackout area previously.

  19. Wolbolgia

This is the sports version of your ex saying “I want you to stay in my life, you can watch me and my new BF fuck”.

  20. Grantland17

This is like your ex-wife’s husband trying to be friends with you

  21. bearamongus19

Never knew there was a sports version of cucking

  22. meeks102

Based off of the Rams this will only be hate watching.

  23. IsolationAutomation

That’s like kidnapping your wife and letting you see her in FaceTime videos.

  24. HoldenAJohnson

I say this with the most sincerity….suck my balls. Like thanks for the thought but fuck off

  25. builditbetr

How about all hockey games be available in an affordable way that’s react to access through a single point to retain and get new fans for all the NHL,?

    No?

    Ok.

  26. HonoluluHonu808

The 42 of them should be stoked.

  27. SnooGadgets4267

If you were a fan of Arizona I pretty sure you don’t give a shit anymore.

  28. Buttersleftkowitz

“In local news, Utah beats up the already weak”.

    Stop, stop they’re already dead.

  29. Buttersleftkowitz

Watching the Coyotes was like a dying loved one on life support put out of their misery.
