  1. Their defense is bad, and the goaltending is awful, no deep run for this team. My money is on Winnipeg!

  2. All these comment section experts comparing Skinner to Helleybuck like Skinner wasn't a Calder nominee last year. You don't think writing off Skinner might be a little premature?

  3. Edmonton or Winnipeg, Vancouver doesn't have much playoff experience so they'll have some hard lessons to learn. Toronto doesn't have enough heart in its core to drive them. Winnipeg's got the harder matchup so well see how she goes. My moneys on Edmonton making a run this year after losing to the cup champs 2 years in a row.

  4. He’s correct. Winnipeg are over achievers and Dallas will send them to the gold course. Vancouver has been good but aren’t built for the playoffs though they should get by Nashville barring a total collapse of the first line. Toronto, well everybody knows what’s happened the past few years and there doesn’t seem to any reason for it to be different this year.

  5. Edmonton is #1 in the NHL since November 13th. This shouldn't be a surprise to the salty tears comment section 😂

  6. Hopefully one, between Old Stanley wanting to come home to Canada where he belongs and the corruption of Bettman, the Oilers and Canadiens are getting tired of carrying the rest. Toronto Vancouver Jets and Senators zero cups since 67 and one gifted cup to the Flames in 89 thanks to the Great One Gretzky and the Kings knocking out the Oilers. Come on Canada getter done. 😊

  7. Well, I can tell you who's going the deepest into the first round…… before they gag it away again!!

  8. It's quite amazing how fandom keeps people from being objective. Edmonton, whether you like them or not, has put in their time, they've paid their dues in playoff experience, they've been gutted twice. They have that edge that the other canadian teams just don't have yet. They are a better squad on paper, and their star players are going to be absolutely laser focused.

Leafs, Canucks, Jets….. anything can happen, ofc, but Edmonton has grown the most over the past 3 years, by comparison. I'm with Button on this one, which is odd to say, but, I am. Edmonton has the pieces, the mindset, and the experience, to be the deadliest team in the western conference, if not the entire playoffs.

  9. As a Canadian I have to wonder yet again how much the bettman influence has to o with who wins. F U C K bettman

  10. Funny how no one said anything about the Maple Leafs? HA HA HA, & this is coming from an Oilers Fan. GO OILERS GO.

  11. Cup or bust we will see if goaltending is an issue yet again. Vancouver and Winnipeg dont have to worry about that 😂
