  1. Idk mannnn, the Oilers defense is really a bunch of frauds. They're best defenseman is Nurse?😂 Really?😂 Absolutely no one is scared of their defense. Their defense is very mid for all the teams in the playoffs.

  2. okay we at the final 4/conf finals and im still with you 100% with my Rangers…just dont blow it (going in ive been sayin NYR over EDM for months and recently decided its gonna go 6 with NY lifting the cup in Canada

  3. I can’t see the Oilers making it past Vancouver. I’d be tempted to say Canucks in four, but I’ll say Canucks in 6

  4. REALLY STEVE – YOU STOP DOING HATPICKS ETC THEN SHAFT MY RANGERS?!?! If we lose it will NOT be to a WC team, itll be an ECF upset from FLA/CAR/Hell maybe even NYI/TB in an upset (not that i think its likely but more likely than getting to final and losing to Dallas who i dont see making the final over EDM/OTT tbh)

LGR!!!! Deepest team, TWO elite goalies, TWO '#1 worthy top lines' on Off AND Def, a 120 point scorer and 5 players with over 70 points, no injuries, in a playoffs where special teams/goaltending become bigger it just helps us more, ESP the special teams with our LETHAL # PP and top 3 PK with sooo many SHG's this yr

  5. Out of interest just to poll yall (ONLY NON NYR/DAL fans, myself included lol)

Who do YOU think would win IF Steves's right and its NYR vs DAL (with NYR having home ice for games 1/2/5/poss 7)

  6. Rangers in 5
    Canes in 6
    Panthers in 6
Bruins in 7 (IT WAS 4-1)
    Stars in 7
    Jets in 6
    Canucks in 6
    Oilers in 6

    Canes in 7
    Bruins in 7
    Stars in 6
    Canucks in 6

    Canes in 6
    Stars in 6

Stars win cup over Canes in 6

  7. I don't think the young Canucks defenders are the people that you're thinking of when Nashville is "forechecking them into the ground". Tyler Myer 6'8", Zadorov 6'6", Soucy 6'5", Juulson 6'2", Cole 6'1" and Hronek 6'0" even. Quinn Hughes is only 5'10" and they'll be targeting him, but the rest of the blueline are pretty big and tough. When Buffalo got a bit too into head hunting Hughes one game, Zadorov went on a pairing with him for a few shifts to let them know this wasn't going to happen anymore. I expect this to happen a few times in the playoffs, but the rest of the blueline aren't players other teams are going to want to mix it up with.

  8. From the first round, I'm picking Rangers, Panthers, Hurricanes, Bruins, Jets, Oilers, Stars and Canucks.
From the second, Hurricanes, Bruins, Stars and Canucks.
And for the final, Hurricanes and Stars.
Would be a perfect final for me, since I like both teams, so I'd see it as a win either way, but I'm taking Stars to win the cup in 6.

Oh hey, I wrote that before watching the video till the end. Go Dallas!

  9. "Canucks young defenseman"… you mean spry guys like Myers (34), Cole (35), Soucy (29), Zadorov (29) and Hronek (26)??? Like other than Hronek and Hughes every other D has plenty of playoff experience too. Please do a little research before just saying random stuff, Steve.

  10. did 3 brackets. 1 where i get all my preferred, 2. Ratings for the NHL, 3. all the outcomes I don't want. FL panthers vs Winnipeg for the cup with the Panthers winning. NY Rangers vs Edmonton with the Rangers winning. Also had NYI NYR round 2. Toronto to the Eastern Conference to give all of Canada false hope. Rangers Leafs. Then for don't want, Tampa Vs Colorado for a rematch with the Av's winning even though they looked really bad down the stretch. Think I picked Isles of the Hurricanes in all 3 brackets. Steve's pick was very close to my ratings pick. At the end of the day all 3 will be broken in round one as usual because the Kings win the cup…why? no!

  11. Stars v oilers western conference final!!! Stars oilers in the playoffs? Again… there’s so much history between them. They played each other every year it seemed in the playoffs in the late 90s. Pumped for the Stars to take it!

    Let’s go Stars!!!

  12. Poor Steve. I got Madison Square Garden tickets and they were authentic and I got to watch the line brawl with the Devils. That was an interesting night.

  13. The Captain has a legacy at stake, plus a redemption due against Vegas, and you can see it in his eyes the past 2 months. Oetter looking strong down the stretch, plus purloining Tanev from Calgary (and the rest of the league)…. and all that firepower. Now if we can just get the referees to call some damn penalties on the filthy G-Knats, we're in good shape. Happy to see Steve coming over to the victory green side. Sorry about the Leafs. But ya never know…

  14. Edmonton had Paul Coffey after Woodcroft left and his defense coaching changed the Oilers to a winning team

  15. “The oilers defence is awful” legit top 5 team in expected goals against steveo. Ever since the coaching change they’ve been great

  16. If the Canucks and Oilers play round two, then I think the Canucks have the advantage. The last time they played, 1st in the division was up for grabs and the Oilers just didn't have what it takes to win.
