We need Seth Jarvis as our 2nd line centerman . Yeah I know Dach is supposed to be but he’s not played a full season yet. Jarvis would be perfect and Dach could play left wing. We would also need a top 6 right winger to complete our 2nd trio.

We need to get about 50 more goals for and cut out about 50 goals against to make the playoffs.
I think our stable goaltending situation and competitive defence should go a long way toward reducing goals and just Slaf and the 2nd line being healthy could get us another 50 goals.

I’m no genius but I’m expecting a couple defensemen moved and a solid forward or two acquired this off season. Fowler will be marinated in a year or two and we’ll be solid.

I definitely hope we add a top 6 forward this offseason. I’d prefer to follow the Dach route and acquire a younger player than draft a UFA.
I cannot wait for the draft, with so many top end D out there I really don’t know what’s going to happen with our pick. We really need a forward but if they’re high on one of the D then go for it and get us a forward via trade.

I recall looking at Florida 4 years ago and thinking « Man, for a sucky team they have a lot of potential. » That’s sorta kinda where we are now.
