It’s just unbelievable to me how this is even a discussion. It’s very disrespectful to accuse someone of diving. Slavin is one of the most respected players in the league. I genuinely don’t think I’ve heard a bad word about him at all before this.
And there was no embellishment whatsoever. He got right back up, didn’t act hurt, didn’t look around for the refs. What planet is someone living on if they think this was a dive??

Regarding the last one, the thing that blows me away the most is that everyone is super focused on whether or not Slavin sold the slash and not the fact that that slash, whether or not it was particularly hard, is a petty bitch thing to do and absolutely 100% a penalty. Like anyone complaining wouldn’t be losing their minds if an opposing player slashed their top defenseman’s unprotected leg for no fucking reason.
