  1. Fun Fact – If you ever need an explanation of "meaningless goals" find a Leaf player, they are the experts on the subject.

  2. the coyle goal would have been saved had the leafs d moved the bruin out of sammy's face. was not sammy's fault.

  3. Honestly this is what I’ve come to expect from Toronto now, they do so well during the season and then the best players stop playing lol

  4. I hope the Bruins play the Capitals and get swept. They couldn't beat them to give the Red Wings a chance at the playoffs, so being eliminated by them would be fitting.

  5. Anyone who thinks boston is going out in first rd after what happened last year, is insane. I would almost bet that they sweep. They are gonna just take a strangle hold on this series. And never let go

  6. All of the leafs were lost on the ice. Ryan reaves goes for the pinch no awareness that he was the last one back. Just like the Dion's hit cost them the series. S. Keefe is a grinder coach, but there's no fight in him at all he lacks defensive minded actions. Yet all the Leafs looked scared even on the powerplay, because of the formation and because of their history of goalies letting in soft goals. History will repeat itself until the draft their own D men and goalie. ONLY 1 D men has been with the Leafs since he was drafted once Morgan leaves he will win a cup just like Kadri & Bozak &, Steen before them. The culture needs to change.

  7. Can they just fire Keefe before game 2 please. Why does everyone hate Toronto so much? Hate the Canucks or Habs please

  8. Dude, the Bruins won 1 game…hardly "a commanding lead". Let's not get too ahead of ourselves.

  9. should bring cujo out of retirement theres just no way the leafs have a chance in this series

  10. The reason they lost is obvious, Reaves only got 7:31 minutes in ice time! Not enough time to work his magic! 😅🤣
Sheldon Queef should have deployed him more!

  11. Crazy part is there are 3 other Canadian teams in the playoffs… and they’re all BETTER than Toronto! Yet they force feed Toronto to us. Love to see it every year.

  12. defense wins in the playoffs. Leafs are giving up 5 goals per game. now six in a row .Leafs are still not getting that message

  13. im sorry but , matthews nylander and marner are exceptional players ! but all 3 togheter wont win anything ! split them in 3 different teams and id change my mind ! so much talent in that team but they have to make changes ! they gotta admit its badly put togheter before their prime expire

  14. It always pains me how we now just expect points from D-men. Like to compare Nemec with Luke Hughes is weird. Yes, Hughes produced more points but Nemec played 22 games less while blocking twice as many shots and getting as many hits as Hughes – again, in 22games less than him.. Nemec is also much better on +/- (as bad as that metric is)
We should give a bit more D-love to D-men and stop talking about points as much as we do with forwards

  15. Problem #1 is Tie's son is Tie's son. Max Dumi should have been benched after his inexcusable penalty. 'nuff said. Signed-Not a Leaf fan and even dislike the Bears more.

  16. Unfortunately I watch the Leafs do this every playoff. The real reason the Leafs don't win in the playoffs is because they have a horrible inability to bury goals. The Leafs many times outplay the other team for stretches of time but they can't seem to get the puck in the net anywhere nearly as efficient as their opponents. Many series have been lost due to this. Even last night the Leafs actually held up well on the ice but the goal difference was huge because Boston buried their chances. This all comes down to the Leafs not being clutch. The stars disappear in the playoffs. Matthews should have buried that goal with the open net but still messed it up. I'm convinced the team is cursed imo.

  17. So the Bruins could destroy the leafs like that, but couldn’t beat Ottawa with 3 of Ottawas players out playing at home. And the night before the Rangers smoked Ottawa 4-0.
I call that a tank job.

  18. The Leafs in the first probably 10-12 minutes just have any push, they easily could've been down 3-4. But the last 8-10 minutes Leafs had Boston on the ropes, causing turnovers and many scoring chances but they just didn't capitalise. And I think up to when Matty had that heartbreaking missed opportunity that is kind of where the game fell apart and Boston was just in control. I like to see Kampf getting on the board. I honestly wasn't too upset with them in this one but they just need to play the full 60 minutes and they have a shot here but if they don't do that, Boston will take advantage and the boys might be teeing up early once again.
