The last 4 seasons have been a complete gong show. From covid cancelled season to the all Canada games. Then Melnyk dying leading to an insane sale process that fucked this season due to the long delays. They have all sucked. I couldn’t watch the covid season. No fans and same opponents over and over had me checked out fast. This season was the most disappointing but has the most promise for the future.
From 2020-2024, all seasons have been equally the least enjoyable.
All of these seasons have sucked. But this year has been the least enjoyable because there was some expectation that we would compete. Then the double blow of pinto suspension and losing a first rounder. Then GM and coach fired. It’s just been awful.
I guess last year was most enjoyable because we were in the mix down the stretch and we absolutely destroyed detroit in those big games which was a lot of fun.
Hard to compare 4 pieces of absolute shit, but the least painful was 2024 because I had zero expectations and just wanted to see growth which I got

I hated this season SO much.
This past season was easily the worst, since they took a step back for the first time during the rebuilding years. I have zero confidence in next season.
This season was the worst. The vibes were sour like all year long. Doesn’t get worse than having your hopes and expectations completely crushed, and that’s what happened this year. In October I thought we were or could be a playoff team, and now I see we’re not even close.
Last year sucked but there were so many fun moments like the Giroux slapper, the insane Timmy pass to G in OT against LA, the hype of getting Chychrun etc. This year was rotten.
