My first Canuck's game was in early 70's … Kansas City Scouts … first row/north goal line
in the old Coliseum – A winger for KC named Simon Nolet got called for something by the ref
and right in front of me he told the ref to f-off. I thought he'd get a further reprimand for
improper language …little did I know.

Huge Canuck fan, but the Canucks have a culture of sagging when the going gets tough. They had a great year by beating the teams they should have beat (often scraping by) but were mostly anemic against stronger teams. They’ll need some killer instinct to go deep. Brendan, move back a few feet, you’re all up in our grill man.

Great to see one of my childhood heroes talking about the team I love. Keep up the good work BMo. I agree the match up on paper is not close. But you do gotta wonder if they can keep their heater going long enough to steal the series, it's in the cards. Canucks can't overlook them. I said gentleman's sweep for the good guys. So we'll see how the series goes. Just excited for playoff hockey in Vancouver again.

Thanks for your insight Brendan. As a Homer, you'd hope this would be the Canucks in 5, but with all the inexperience the Canuckleheads have on the squad, I'm thinking it'll be more of a struggle. IMHO, if Elias Pettersen doesn't get going early on in the series, Nashville could pull this one out. If he does start producing at his normal level, then I agree it's the Canucks in 6.

vancouver is the dangerous team. Nashville is a decent team but if we play up to potential the will get run over
Nashville started out 5-10. Since the All-Star break, they have the 2nd best power-play in the NHL. Vancouver, meanwhile, ranks 24th in that timeframe. It is like that in category after category. It may be the same guys that played Vancouver to start the season, but it is not the same team. Underestimate the preds at your own peril.

And your wife must be incredible managing tickets all that stuff besides your gaggle of kids. This kind of "everybody coming out of the woodwork "for the playoffs is something that fans maybe don't realize // when everyone wants some of your time & is in party mode and you need to be in business routine with naps, treatment, workouts and food etc.
{Hopefully you can set up more of "set" as background – would love to see a big marlin mounted on the wall along with other memorabilia. Spend a few bucks on a better mic and ditch the ball cap :-)}
PS I remember scoring a ticket for that playoff series versus the Avs after a long playoff drought it was incredible (the parts that I remember anyway ha ha)
