Le gardien suppléant des Islanders, Ilya Sorokin, reste debout pendant tout le match, attendant une chance d’entrer et d’affronter les Hurricanes. he should be in the net
Next thing ya know Varlomov needs to come out, And Sorokin goes to walk out and gets a cramp and they need an ebug 😭💀
Haha
How is this considered fair in the playoffs? Loser canes do anything they can to get an advantage
Nah…
thats rude
😭💀
Me makes enough money he can get his own chair
Well, there's always a zamboni driver waiting for an opportunity if he would be tired of standing…
Varlamov
This is funny, but just to be clear, he had a chair that he used at other points in the game. He was choosing to stand at that moment. And this is not the only NHL arena that has made a backup goalie sit in a separate spot or done other quirky things with the road team's bench.

Bro took 'stand-in' goalie way too seriously
He's almost crying 😛
They’re not wrong at all, but at least goalies stand for the whole game anyway. A whole lot of playing net is finding a comfortable position to chill while the action is at the other end.
Take a seat young sorokin

Embarrassing that there isn’t room on the bench in an NHL building
In general every team sets the visiting team up for failure. The benches are at an uncomfortable height, the water is just under boiling, tje goalie doesn't have a seat. Home field advantage isn't about the fans. As it should be this should not change!
That can’t be good for the skates
as a canes fan i think he's js fine standing
Figures, the Hurricanes are a low class outfit.
Leave it to Patrick Roy he will find a solution. Or maybe look out games 3 and 4, when the Islanders are at home.
