I like the intensity
I honestly didn’t have a problem with that call on Domi.
Stems back to the opening faceoff when he took three hard shots at Marchand. That was totally over the top and would have, and should have 100% been a penalty. I’m sure the ref was frustrated because it’s the opening draw of Game 1 of the playoffs, he’s not gonna call Domi there before the game has even started, he went over and had a lengthy chat with him before dropping the puck. Surely he would have said to cut it out or he’s gonna have to call that. To go ahead and do it again, during the same game, is simply idiotic. Easy call for the ref to make.
