Sorry Boys to say, Boston teams, whether it be baseball, basketball and hockey…Toronto teams will NEVER WIN against Boston. History doesn’t lie. When has a Toronto sports team ever WIN against Boston? Boston has a WINNING mentality, loos at their coaches/players. Toronto Maple Laughs, better start dusting off their golf clubs. This series will be done by Saturday with Boston dominating! Morgan & Tessa can go to another Taylor Swift concert, when TML gets eliminated in the first round, and Morgan will have ALL the time in the world.
Re: U-S-A chants, when the Boston fans want to taunt the Habs, they do the Olé-Olé. But the Toronto Corporate Leafs Crowd is so lifeless, soulless and dull, they don't have any defining chant or personality for people to remember them by, so the Bruins fans just chant a generic U-S-A, which is all they can muster for the generic, corporate merger-ass Toronto team.

the issue with the officiating wasn't that the leafs got the calls they did, it is that they were letting the Bruins get away with similar things all night. The penalties were 5 – 2 but Boston played no cleaner. There were multiple high sticks that weren't called etc.
Isn't it hilarious that Babcock said Matthews and Marner should be split up because they can drive their own line and everyone (myself included) went ballistic and yelled to just play Matthews and Marner together. Now look at the conversation we are having of NEVER PLAY THEM TOGETHER EVER AGAIN. Babcock was right.
The salary cap has ruined hockey/sports talk. It reduces anything anyone says to, "but how much do they make?" Also, I really hope the Leafs go full Calgary this off-season and trade good players away, and we can all go, "but we have all this money. It was supposed to be better when we spent less money on less better players. Why isn't it working??" Legitimately cant wait.

@sdpn Skjei didn't go down too easy – look at the penalty again and you see Anders Lee knee the back of Skjei's leg (likely on accident) which caused him to fall. It did look suspicious in real time but I doubt it was a dive. Steve is still just upset about the Zamboni goalie

Archimedes is the guy you're talking about using burning mirrors, but they were probably not flat mirrors. I've seen people light pencils on fire with curved mirrors from small telescopes using the Sun. Mythbusters used flat mirrors, which are going to disperse a lot more light.

2. In defence of Toronto, Jeremy Swayman had the game of his LIFE: +6.2 GSAX . Yes, Toronto had to bury their chances, but you have to expect that it'll start going in if they keep playing like that.
3. Cam Ward wasn't always a great goalie in his later years with the team, but the bad Hurricanes teams were the reason Ward couldn't get to the playoffs more, not the other way around. 2011 for example, he was exceptional (74GP 37W 923SV% 25.9GSAX) but the team narrowly missed. 2009 he had a stellar run as well. He wasn't the one holding the team back, at least not for over half a decade after their cup.
