  1. I’m rooting for Vegas and hoping that Stone is completely recovered because his injury could have been life altering. Hopefully we get some GREAT hockey!!

  2. Anyone look at the NIH Sports Medicine study Splenic Lacerations and Return To Play? Some very interesting information. Says 2 hockey players returned to play exactly 62 days after their grade 3 splenic laceration.

Today is 62 days from the hit on February 20th.

  3. Its important to note, Vegas lineup as of this morning is actually over the cap now. He had Dorofeyev, league min of 800k+, on the 3rd line, while they are actually icing Mantha in that spot (he was just resting), who has a hit of over 2 mil.

  4. They are still a great hockey team, if they can get through the wagon of a team in the Dallas stars they'll be able to take another Stanley

  5. Vegas almost didn’t make the playoffs this year because they didn’t have Stone and others during the regular season. So that was planned? Possibly missing the playoffs on purpose? For more than half a year the Knights had to play 5-6 AHL players every game because of injuries. As far as Stone practicing before the playoffs in a no contact jersey, a player must practice prior to the playoffs in order to be eligible to play playoff games.

  6. 6:52 genuinely hope people hear you here. People get caught up in the dramatic statements that push the envelope that aren’t even realistically describing what’s happening, and you my fine good sir have.

  7. Great video. I was skeptical at first since it seemed like another "complaint video", but it's actually much the opposite. Might be worth noting also that last year, Mark Stone was put on LTIR about 2 weeks after getting surgery, as he had been injured more than a month before the deadline.

  8. Praise Jebus, it's a miracle! Still I can't blame Vegas for doing it…it's in the rules and until the league does something about that, all teams will be doing it.

  9. What vegas did is legal… squatters rights is legal too.
Both of them are scumbags for abusing it and both DESERVE all the criticism they get.

  10. Just because Stone is playing doesn't mean he's 100%. Ya'll act like he went out game 1 of the regular season and rested all year only to show up for game one of the playoffs.

  11. In 2022 Mark Stone went out and they did NOT acquire people with cap shenanigans. They tried to trade away Dadonov and it got reversed.

  12. so…. "LTIR loophole" is not actually a loophole, and is being used as intended? but how do you explain my team not winning the cup?

  13. Vegas fan here, Stone is a great player. Dallas is a solid team so I expect a good series and they are the top team in the West so we'll have a tough road ahead. Go Knights Go!

  14. Thank you for explaining this! Another point that needs to be highlighted is that there is a cost associated with Vegas loading up at the trade deadline. Other GM's absolutely can do the same thing but seem unwilling to give up draft capital like Vegas. So they whine instead. Maybe this strategy will come back to haunt Vegas, and they will miss the playoffs for the next decade. It's a risk, is my point. And other GM's can choose to do the same, but most seem unwilling to take that risk.

  15. OMg are they trying to scam the NHL again? Does trump own them? Do they have to push every loophole?? Absolutely disgusting when a team plays with a salary way over other teams. Absolutely disgusting.
