Anyway, uh poor start, bad pk, bad pp, oettinger back to being bad. There was some positives. The Stars controlled the play more from second( well after that early goal… ) until the end. So at least it seems they had more pushback. Last year, Vegas just had their way with them.

As a Vegas fan, I didn't love this game. While they were good at shutting it down. They were not good at all offensively 5 on 5. The Stone Hertal line looks slow despite being good defensively. I think offensive could be a problem if they don't adjust the lines.

I have always firmly believed that VGK has presented an unwanted contrast since Bill Foley's impressive, detailed and clean proposal for an expansion team.
Foley set the bar high for future NHL owners:

– top tier game venue
– top tier practice facilities
– NO public tax dollars
– demographic studies
– investment in community
– sharp business mind
Cities like Quebec City had zero chance against Bill Foley and Las Vegas.
as a VGK fan I think we can beat Dallas even as good as they are. If we can keep Hinze and Robertson in check while putting more shots on Otinger I think we can beat them. Good game, not great and LT needs to stop that 3rd goal for sure. Other than a few boo boo's to fix let's go get game 2. Go Knights Go!
