Adding insult to injury sending you a Phillies shirt haha

Ugh, but not surprising given my history with Fanatics.

My now-wife said she first realized she loved me during Game 5 of the 2018 Final. When we were planning our wedding, I realized a decent surprise would be wearing cufflinks made from a game-used Game 5 puck. Fanatics had those cufflinks listed on its web site, so I ordered a pair.

When they arrived, the certificate of authenticity said they were from Game 2, not Game 5.

I called Fanatics and the rep said that their database showed that they had only one pair of cufflinks left, and the database said they were from Game 5, but the database also said what they sent me was from Game 5, so…who knows? I had them send that pair, sent back the Game 2 pair, and hoped for the best.

When the replacement arrived, they were, indeed, from Game 5. Whew.

I’m assuming you ordered through a fb or instagram ad. A lot of predatory companies on social media front as an official vendor, then stuff like this happens.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was fanatics direct, but I’ve dealt with this from the ads before.

Gotta put a trigger warning for that second pic

Glad mine showed up, but wish I had paid that $112 rather than the $150. Can anyone answer, with the 47 brand stuff, why doesn’t it show up on their site? Like the selection 47 will have on their pages will often be totally different (and usually way less available) than the 47 selection on the nhl shop.

I need a trigger warning, bud.
