   Ryan McDonagh should have multiple Norris trophies if it was actually about playing defense. He is an absolute monster.

   So this actually got me looking at some stats. McDonagh has been arguably one of the best playoff performing defensemen of all time. Aside from winning two cups, he currently ranks:
   -1st all time in playoff shot blocking
   -1st all time in short handed time on ice (playoffs)
   -3rd all time in playoff minutes played, after only Chara and Lidstrom
   -12th all time in playoff hits
   -28th all time in playoff games played
   -I remember Lightning coach Jon Cooper saying after the 2021 cup win, that McD could have won the Conn Smythe as well (it deservingly went to Vasilevskiy).

   TL:DR – McD is a Playoff God
