Ah the playoffs, when coaches come up with the most bizarre things to bitch about.

As a neutral observer. Who cares. You still have home ice advantage, if it goes 7 games you play more at home then away.
Go complain to your players that you have now given up home ice advantage by losing at home.

Boo hoo. Get over it Monty.
The bruins have no room to cry after the way they ended last year. Shut up and win.

With all due respect: wah.

Home *ice* advantage, not Home *time* advantage.
Nice_Wolverine_4641
I think a lot of teams can complain about the schedule. Most of them are in the western conference and have stupid start times. This is either a reporter with a dumb question or a coach giving the media something to talk about to distract them from something else.

No what the NHL should have done is Saturday GM1, TUE GM2, THURS GM3. or SAT, MON, WED, FRI. No need for two days off in between GM3 and GM4 they did it so TOR would have Hockey Night in Canada on Saturday night ya know more ratings = more money. That’s why the NHL scheduled it that way.

If this is what is occupying his mind, they’ve already lost the war.

Shut up and play hockey you whiny ass bitch

This might legitimately be the single dumbest thing I have ever seen a coach whine about. This is the sort of thing that a random fan would post on their teams’ subreddit and get told their an idiot by their fellow fans.

If you think that’s unfair, wait until the drawing for who gets 1st pick in the draft and its Chicago again
ddddeadhead1979
It’s less than 2 hours of flight
goleafsgo88
Then fly back to Boston after the game tonight and then come back on Friday night. Players can sleep in their home beds on Wednesday and Thursday night.
Either that or, I don’t know, toughen up and quit whining about the schedule.
Responsible-Arm3514
Not anymore, you split the home stand and now you’re the road team in a best of 5.

Man I hate both these teams
Strangle1441
Sounds like the Bruins are already saying loser shit
CalebosO4
tbf, the NHL scheduling in general is wack
Coker42
As a Toronto fan, I k ow my team will try their best to help with this situation. Hopefully, in 3 more games, Boston can go back to their homes until they travel next season.

Look at how far Nashville and Vancouver have to fly. Is that fair? It is the schedule. Deal with it.
DarthAnakin88
Sounds like something the Leafs would be blasted for if Keefe whined about this…

It’s the fucking playoffs and we need to stop being so dumb.
Coaches are going to find something to rally their guys around and this was almost a throwaway comment in response to a direct question.
Is it ideal? No, it’s not a perfect schedule. It’s a little unfair.
So what?

Her’s some 🧀for that 🍷!

At least they’re in the playoffs….

If you can’t beat Toronto with slightly adverse conditions, you’re in no position to challenge for the cup.
This is a gripe to bring up over summer GM meetings on the golf course down in Naples, FL.

I think Jim Montgomery should get inundated with fun things to do in Toronto since he’s so upset about having an extra day in a world class city.
luigi_b0red
Do the leafs have some sort of contract with the NHL that makes it so they have to play every Saturday?

Wait what? I am confused. Isn’t 3,4, and 6 away?
