My second thought after the news broke was what this would do to all the youth hockey programs – Kachinas included. Hockey’s a notoriously cost-prohibitive and difficult sport to get kids into. If youth hockey programs aren’t supported, we could potentially see a lot of the growth of the sport in AZ falling off and even seriously declining in the next few years.
