Missed the playoffs 3 out 4 years in NJ and 5 out of 8 years combined with Dallas and NJ. An actual cup winning coach available in Berube, but hey, let's bring back Ruff because nostalgia
Samuelson too brittle, Power scary every time he touches the puck on the power play… I hope they address these issues and if a trade is necessary… THEN DO IT. Also will be interesting to see staff changes. They were rarely prepared to start games and they needs to change.
Lance please tell me that is not Bob Suave's helmet behind you LOL. My favorite all time goalie was Don Edwards. It's funny I disagree with you about UPL. I do not believe he is the goalie of the future he is much like Suave in the sense he uses his body to block shots where Levi is like Don Edwards he actually is a goalie.
Back to the past. An organization without any dynamic vision. The definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
Ruff is taking over at the right time. I believe UPL is on the verge of becoming an all world goalie. And, Levi will be right behind him. Ruff has to be thanking his lucky stars…
I've been a Sabres fan since the beginning. Sorry, after all these years of futility under Pegula, I have zero confidence that things are going to change. I've seen too many of Pegula's cronyism/snap/emotional hiring decisions and you know this is one of them. Things are rotten at the top and Pegula has no clue about hockey. I understand from a Devils podcast that Lindy allowed a country club atmosphere with the Devils. Besides the Sabres' obvious long-term problems, if true, this is alarming.
If we didn’t hire Lindy all these negative fans would find something else to complain about and say we should have hired him. I think with where the team is at it won’t hurt us to see where it goes. We can always get another experienced and established coach later on if it calls for it. The hiring is a logical one.

I'm pretty happy with the re-hiring of Lindy Ruff.

Great. Now the Bills can bring back Wade Phillips

Best move Buffalo has done since the drafting of Rasmus Dahlin.

Its because Kevyn Adams is out of ideas.
