Let us know what you thought of Game 3!
100% evident NSH focused on finishing hits on Hughes. He didn't react well to it either. He was poor last night (for his standards). He had some unforced errors, one bad one in breaking out the puck that was fortunate not to be a goal. We'll see how he adjusts in game 4. So far, the deserving team has only won 1/3 games in this series, hopefully variance rewards the better effort going forward.
Great analysis, Mo. Miss your playing days in Vancouver —great memories 👍
Mr overtime
Loving your channel <3 keep up the analyses . I remember seeing you Blade past us in the early morning on our way to school in Pitt Meadows
DeSmith was my 1 Star last night …agree Miller close second.
No offence Shanny (The Hockey Guy), because your Channel and your insights are Top Shelf.
But, having a guy who has been there makes all the difference in terms of reporting not only the results, but the EXPERIENCE. I am particularly impressed by how you are able to detail even the Net Minder’s state of mind when the doggy do-do is hitting the fan Brendan. Keep it up, please!
1. For the first time, it became clear how badly the Preds want the puck off Huggy's stick. Interestingly, the other Canucks' defencemen picked up the slack and moved the puck well, especially Zadorov.
2. The Canucks had a good season playing well with third period leads. They've proven they can shut down dangerous scoring chances pretty well. But this is the playoffs and the task only becomes more difficult. But the structure to be on the right side of the puck is there. As long as they create good back pressure, they should be okay.
3. Casey was excellent, and I thought the defending of the crease and low slot was very good from the Canucks' bigger defensemen.
4. The overall tenor of the series to date has been strange, in that the games have been quite different from each other. The only consistent thing is that it's been tough, punishing hockey … just the way you like it.
I had no idea that you had a youtube channel! I loved watching you play, and I am glad to see that you are posting videos on youtube! This is something Hughes will definitely have to deal with throughout his career, so I think it's good that he gets used to having to deal with it now.
Wear down hughes. Good luck. He walks away from everyone. Every guy that goes after him just can't keep up.
Just have to fix the microphone Bren
BMo, your editor needs to make sure the audio is in stereo (both ears) lol
Do you live in Pitt Meadows now?
Lot of respect for what Brendon did with Nasy and Berti. Good to see you lending your voice here Brendon. Most Guys don’t know the war playoffs are. These guys are warriors, fighting with everything they have, not some slack job most of us have.
I haven’t watched a minute yet, Wes coast express! I’m hooked, hello Brendan!
Brilliant insight, Brendan, truly exceptional. I'm intrigued to hear your perspective on the team's strategy. Could you delve into what the coaches emphasize regarding our opponents' star players? How do they dissect their strengths and weaknesses? And as a player, how do you tailor your approach to counteract their key players?
Oh man, I still remember meeting you as a kid at the (original) Best Buy opening when they first entered the Canadian market… thank you sincerely for the awesome memory and for sharing your thoughts and insights! Excited and looking forward to watching your channel grow!
Go Canucks Go!
Hey Brendan. When you speak you are only coming through on the right side speaker, just saying…
I was wondering why the sound was off LOL I thought it was my phone
“He’s a big strong man, with a great set of hands” wow Morrison, I loved the way you describe Forsberg !
If DeSmith can give Canucks this type of goaltending, it’s over in 5 games. Canucks have too much depth and skill for the Preds to handle.
Great job b mo
Friday was our first camping trip of the year, and we got to watch the game next to a campfire. Was such a good time.
Thank you for starting this channel man, your videos have been awesome! Cheers
I have one of your hockey cards back from the west coast express days
Damn, BMo himself.
Frickin hyped on BMO’s analysis on games.. instant sub from Maple Ridge
Game 3 was an exciting game, Canucks play better away from home. Patterson was much more composed. Mental focus of the whole Canucks team seemed better than game 2. Myers' return was timely, and Nashville had to deal with his physical presence. The Canucks goalie won the game for the. Game 4 will be a street fight. Nashville won't go down without shedding blood. Looking forward to your analysis of Game 4, Brendan. So good to see you back in Canucks hockey!!!
