  1. You can't have a team that consists of 2 lines. The other team also has 2 good top lines and they will cancel out yours. The rest of the team will win you the hockey games.

  2. yet after their 1 win, y'all made videos about the legends on the team and why this year was different lol. Leaf fans are such dramatic homers and so are TSN sporstnet. Too funny.

  3. Tbh the 'core four' should forfeit about a 1/4 of their salary to make this work, except Matthews maybe. The other three guys are overpaid in so damn many ways that this will never ever work if it stays that way.

  4. I've literally said this non stop the leafs don't fuc^$g care there's no hustle especially Marner it's embarrassing he should definitely get traded no hustle doesn't try at all. U gotta mix that lineup hard, and the "core 4" are a joke paid too much and are putting up nothing it's the same every year like my god boys there non effective

  5. So the Core Four!! can't produce …. GIVE THEM A RAISE!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  6. cant believe all the reworking contract talk i see. no….JT needs to simply GO. i dont care if he cut back more than half his deal, he is not welcome.

  7. I like how Matthews ditched the team mid game due to an “illness” … Yeah right… Take some fucking responsibility instead of running away trying to avoid blame

  8. Maybe it's the jersey. If you switched jerseys with the entire Bruin team, maybe they would become Inept as well. Is there a better answer?

  9. Becaue they're the Make Beleafs…lol. They're an overpaid bunch of immature little boys. They have no idea what digging deep really means. The old saying that "actions speak louder than words" fits here. They all say the right words, but their actions show differently. Go Jets👍

  10. The Leafs organization should apologize to Bob Cole's family. It's disgraceful that they dedicated that 'game' to him, and then put in absolutely NO effort. Oh Baby. What a disrespectful way to honour the Great Bob Cole. Pathetic organization.

  11. The “Downfall” started with an untested GM put into a situation where he figured making a big splash with his first signing (Tavares) would be good for business. Well, jersey sales went thru the roof so that part was smart. From then on his inability to build a team with good goaltending and Defence showed quickly. I’m not going to blame the so called core 4 for getting paid, the GM didn’t have to do it but he did anyway. His thoughts that a team of skilled Smurfs was the way to a Cup was horribly misguided, and wasted a minimum of 2 years until he saw his mistake and tried to rectify it. The fall of 2018 was the GM’s turning point when he received an offer from the Hurricanes for one of two people in trade for a guy who was sitting on his ass at home daring the GM to trade him. The offer was for either Slavin or Pesce for Nylander. Either of those two were way better than any other Leafs D men including Reilly. That would have been a great start at actually building a Defence. Now you have what you have in Nylander, a sometimes great player who also takes plenty of games off and trips over his bottom lip when leading a 3rd line. Oh, that mysterious injury? I bet it was actually disciplinary, because of what he “didn’t” do in their last game of the season just prior to Tampas 5th goal.

  12. Matthews – Regular Season – 1.155 PPG / Playoffs – 0.87
Marner – RS – 1.11 / P – 0.91 (but it's Marner that Leafs fan say disappears in the playoffs and not Matthews)
    Tavares – RS – 0.94 / P – 0.76
    Nylander – RS – 0.88 / P – 0.78 (this is worth 11.5 per season?)

Meanwhile, Leon Draisaitl elevates his game in the playoffs, increasing his PPG from 1.18 to 1.62… it's about HEART. You can't teach it.

  13. Finally talk about a 98 point player on the third line…. Keefe should never coach this team again… Should be fired right now and shanny coach… He's, fired after this, season anyway atleast try to talk control

  14. It’s like a bad rerun being shown for 8 years. Boston is a good team at best! The difference is they wanna win and compete

  15. very evident last year against Florida in the playoffs . Same issues again against Boston this year. When up against a physical team who plays good defense, forechecks well and battles along the boards for the puck. The leafs fluff four can't compete.

Until the leafs build a team to compete against Florida or Boston, which should be their primary objective. They better move out of the Atlantic division, otherwise expect the same results next year
