  1. tough loss. going home 2 down after a crushing loss. as the commenter during the game repeatedly said last night, "you can't play a passive type of hockey in the play-offs". you have to force the game especially with a 3 goal lead. especially against the carolina team!

  2. Have to give Sorokin the net maybe he can spark this team back to life that locker room has to be broken right now

  3. What a game! We instantly thought of you when this happened. How is it our teams always have some wild drama to end a playoff game every year? We had what two OT games last year including the series ender. Insanity

  4. Listen were coming home sorokin in net I would say he's ready to go let's fucking go time to grow a set of balls islanders

  5. Easy to talk trash about a Canes fan coming in when your winning. Seriously! He is a hockey fan. You should have welcomed him.

  6. I hear a lot of complaining about the refs. Canes fans have also been complaining. The truth is the refs were bad but not in favor of any one team. They let obvious stuff go bay both teams and called soft penalties on both. Very inconsistent. As a former player that is the worse. My problem as a Canes fan was tossing the Canes centers out of the dot for absolutly no reason. I was sitting next to a retired ref and he had no reason for why KK was being tossed as much as he was. If you are a Canes fan you know this is normal.
Shout out to all the hockey fans in NC. This is no longer a small market area. I escaped Long Island NY in 1996 after my own career was over. 1 year later the Whalers moved to Raleigh. I was already coaching youth and had my own Power Skating class. I have watched hockey grow in this state to where it is now. It is amazing. The youth hockey is one of if not the best in the states. Parents of hockey players are moving to the Raleigh area so their kids can play youth here. So may great coaches. Many are former AHL or NHL retired players or NHL retired refs. Amazing big named summer hockey camps are held in the Raleigh area every summer. One being one of the oldest hockey camps – HMI or Hockey Ministries International camps have been here since 2008. Raleigh was the furthest south they have ever had a camp. It sold out quickly. Now they have camps in Fl and TX as well as all the others around the globe.
I would love to see Charlotte get an NHL team so the Canes could have a rival like the classic Rangers/ Islandrs. I grew up a Rangers fan on LI so I miss that.
Glad to see this type of event as a hockey fan/coach/player.
