  1. This is what happens when a corporation owns a sports franchise. It’s no longer a sport played by men. It’s a product that encourages the entitlement and selfishness of boys.

  2. Sorry your way off reality here..its not good to see the overpaid young players fighting like its a sunday pick up game..i love the leafs but no way do i see thisteam taking down boston 3 straight..FIRE KEEFE a terrible coach getting out coached game after game year after year..time to clean house the culture stinks

  3. I've seen the Leafs come into town in many cities across Canada. They are like Rock Stars because of the media attention they always get.
Sadly, many of them buy into this and start thinking they are.
Whatever hunger they may have had growing up and getting to the show seems to have fizzled away as they allowed their egos to grow.
That is the reality that management doesn't give a sh*t about winning a cup. They make their money during the regular season with the inflated prices of food and drinks and the merchandise that is sold.
Icing a good team with individual stars during the regular season is way more profitable and marketable than a bunch of lunch pail players willing to give it their all to win the cup.
Whence the "Core 4" costs half of the 25-player roster salary.

  4. Love to see a guy like Quenneville. He will hold the boys accountable. If Shanahan has a problem with that, he needs to be shown the door. If MLSE can't understand this, what can we do?

  5. This team can't win against bottom of the barrel teams and they can't win games when it really matters. It's a the lack of culture %100.

  6. I’d rather watch the ‘Gary Roberts Hockey’ Leafs grind a series out than watch ‘superstars’ Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Tavares, Morgan

  7. Rielly IS the culture and the malaise: entitled without merit, sloppy without repercussion….go figure???

  8. The time to trade the top end assets to balance the roster has passed and that failure is on the management. Combine that with the gutted draft picks there isn’t anything left to maneuver with. They need to sign Mariner, let JT go or sign him to a better team friendly deal and wait for the cap to clear itself up to sign better depth players. Draft and trade wise they need to find a Cojo or Belfour.

  9. This is so fun, I love watching the team fall apart and I love the drama. I love Willie missing time, I love bitching Mitch and flakey Auston Mathews doing an interview in about his regular season goals in the middle of a meltdown. It’s so damn satisfying on so many levels 😂😂😂

  10. Problem is you guys overvalue Mr.Matthews way to much. Yes, he is an elite goal scorer for sure, but he is NOT an elite hockey player and has proven that every season in the playoffs. 15M a year??? wow. Hyman is making 5 million and he scored 54 goals (oh unless we are playing by Toronto (Chris Cuthbert) rules- then he has 59 goals lol). You won't win anything there until you get players playing OVER their pay, not under

  11. talking heads set up Great Expectations and then when they aren't met it's chaos theory. We run it back hoping 100% health is the X factor. Kyle handcuffed the Leafs. The culture of NMC and rewarding these kids based on potential and ZERO results was never a winning strategy. $$$$$ Yo Bruv, ego is not your amigo!

  12. The Maple Losers are just doing what they have always done my entire life. This is what happens when you have oligarchy media companies in Canada running a hockey team when all they care about is making more money coupled with the fact that they know they will make bank regardless of the lackluster product they put out on the ice every single year. Defense wins championships, not a team with 4 primadonna overpaid forwards who only show up in the regular season but disappear when the going gets tough.

  13. 50+ years of loosing…and maple laff fans keep dreaming. Better off comiting sipaku. Lol
