@Kraken de Seattle

Looks like we may be Kraken open another 8 pack of abs on the bench next year eh?

If we even get a sniff of Rod or Jon Cooper this offseason that would be fantastic.

Posting this as it is relevant to Seattle’s coaching search. If Brind’Amour is willing to leave Carolina then he should immediately jump to the top of the list for potential new coaches.

I personally doubt he’ll leave NC based on everything I’ve read about him up until now so this is probably a negotiating tactic on his part, but let’s keep our eyes on this situation just in case.

Saw this on X, Twitter? What ever we’re calling it this week.

    Interesting turn of events.

Don’t tease me like this hockey gods!

Bring him in immediately!! Dude constantly makes the playoff without a superstar player on his team. He is the one.

    Imagine him in Toronto!

Players would call it child abuse in that locker room.

Would be amazing. I bet its Woodcraft. :/

Hurricane fan here who cheers for the Kraken in the west. While Rod would be a great pick up for the Kraken, I don’t see him leaving Carolina. Our GM had this to say about it today.

« He talks daily with Rod Brind’Amour about a contract extension. « Rod wants to be a Hurricane for life… There’s going to be a solution here very quickly. »  »

Rod has been very vocal about making sure that the rest of his coaching staff is taken care of before he signs a deal. That combined with focusing on the playoffs is probably why nothing has been signed yet.

Omg it’d be wild if he came here!

(Also every time I see posts from this person’s Twitter I can’t help but wonder if Dreger and Driedger are the same name but with different spellings but I digress 😂)

I’m all for it, but I have to imagine there are more competitive teams that would be ahead of us in line on the slim chance he does leave.

I’ll drive the dump truck to drop off his money if we can make it happen though!

    (Same for Cooper)

These feels like his agent is pushing for a better offer rather than he’s actually gonna bolt.

I don’t for a second think that CAR will let him walk, but I’d sure love to see him here.

“He wants to stay, but may have to test the market.”

Oh, he gone. Welcome to the PNW, RB’A.
