@Canucks de Vancouver

  1. And that’s why you need playoff experience on your team.

    Last I checked the other team wants to win really bad too. Not enough credit was being given to Saros last night, we are putting up a similar number of high danger chances to teams like the Avs and the Oilers but he was a difference maker last night.

    Ian Cole i think has absolutely been rock solid all series. In the regular season, Cole and Juulsen were essential inter-changeable. Now, it’s not even close

    From the day we signed Cole, that experience was invaluable. A guy who is built for the playoffs, have experience going through 4 rounds and winning it all. He knows this series against Predators is the easiest series. I really hope we can give him another 1 year offer.

    If you can’t manage to win against Nashville, don’t even think about getting past a determined McDavid and then have your choice of COL/VGK/DAL. West is a gauntlet and every team is so good. I would not be surprised if the Cup winner was a Western team again for the 3rd time in a row.

    Playoff experience is one thing, but Ian Cole is incredibly well spoken and it blows me away every time.

  6. Grew up a Pens fan but moved to Vancouver in 2009 and have been a big fan of both since.

    Cole and a few of the other penguins additions around the org (Rutherford, Tochett included) made me so excited, just knowing the pedigree they bring, which will hopefully bring us a cup soon.

    Facts. Don’t want to play another game? Should’ve put in a better effort. Score more goals than the other team.

    So why didn’t tocc challanage that interference goal??

    I love how he always starts answering reporters/interview questions with « Listen » His answers are always really well thought out, he’s a bright guy. Would love to see him on the HNIC panel someday.

    Great quote….but I mean…he’s never been in a team located at the very end of west. The travel is going to wear you down. Even Juice admitted that winning Nashville in game 6 in 2011 actually hurt the team…but obviously, players don’t need to know that. Just win the series and move on.

    That’s gave me goosebumps. That’s a leader.

    Some members of r/canucks in shambles when the Canucks don’t go 16-0 in the playoffs.
