  1. Fredrick lost that game. Easy open net and he doesn’t flip it up and in on the backhand. He shoots it while still on the ice. Would have been 2-1 middle of the 3rd.

  2. WTF was that?
Leafs come to play and the Bruins watched them for 45 minutes
Without Swayman it would have been over in regulation.
    – Pissed off Bruin Fan.

  3. Love Carl’s scheme analysis. I’m a leaf fan and can only bear to listen after we win but if you guys move on I’ll check in the postgames for sure. B fans are spoiled. Great show

  4. Leafs fan dropping in again. Again, your analysis is very reasonable. I thought we were in big trouble when Woll let in that first one.
Here is the comment I left on Leafs Nation's post game: (keep in mind we, the Leafs, are the playoff choke kings of the last 20 years and we admit it) "The good thing about collapsing early and going behind 3-1 is now being 3-2 they will be getting in the Bruin's heads after their disaster last year. It will be Boston that has choking in the back of their minds if we can force game 7. "

  5. You guys are underestimating Joe Woll. He shared the net as a teen with Oettinger on the US National team and the coaches couldn’t guess which one would end up better. He’s a rookie but he’s at that level.

  6. Montgomery is the problem, scratched Beecher and shattenkirk… pastranak has been disappointing this series, but how can he be consistent when the coach is always fucking switching up the lines!!!!! WTF is Montgomery doing!!!!

  7. They weren't even puck watching they were staring at Swayman because who needs defense. Lmao And that is your top pair? Think the team knows they are 2 games away from being the only team in pro sports history to blow back to back 3-1's in 2 years.

  8. Unfortunately if the Bruins somehow get past Toronto I don’t think they have a prayer against Florida 😢

  9. same song and dance, why did we change the line up from the previous 2 games? why

you put in Grzelcyk who is only known for his skating and he got beat to the net by JOHN TAVARES!!! now you will take him out of the line up for game 6? like what did he do sitting in the press box the last 2 games to have to toss him in?

calling it now Grzelcyk and JVR will sit and shatty and beecher will come in, stupid monty just a joke wake up

  10. Florida is just licking its chops. Nothing new here Boston has been consistently inconsistent the whole second half of the season…..one game on one game off. This is not a team built for the playoffs. …..oh and Pasta is becoming more of a liability than a asset….especially in the playoffs. Brad and Jeremy have played great…….that’s it which is not enough !

  11. EVAN- saying it's not Grzelcyk fault okay let me ask you this?
if that's Mcavoy, Carlo, Lindholm is JT skating to that area and getting the puck on net?
NOPE- he is either dumping it in or curling back

  12. pastrnak wanted the big bucks but can't play under the spot light, puts up 100+ points yearly but goes ghost when you need him, 11.5 million? i would ship that contract for a top 4 D- 5 million and a top 6 forward 6 million- 2 for 1 save 500k and have 2 good players instead of a season player who turns it over anytime pressure comes at him

  13. Pasta normally swings and usually away from anyone… it is how he gets open. Others need to do the work.
Hienen is hurt or sick and playing at 75%… he is the energy of the line and missing right now

  14. I don't know what Poppa Gryz got on Sweeney and Neeley, but he makes sure his useless boy get's to play at home.
Why Monty fucked with the lines in a close out game is beyond reason.
Braz and Gryz should not be on the ice.
    Bruins will lose in 7

  15. Carl's analysis is the best. Look forward to it after every game. Hope it's happier times. on Thursday! (don't want to see Carl go into hiding!).

  16. Bruins didn't even try! Toronto played like crap but even a crap team can beat a team that's not even trying! It wasn't bad play, it was not even trying play!

  17. Regarding Pasta… is it just me, or has he been loafing since the contract? He was ever-present before that point.

  18. Boston win a faceoff!!! Pasta is limp !!cringing when he gets the puck he’s going to lose it or get shot blocked ! Lindholm macavoy protect the net ,..grizzy give him a break always at the end of the criticism but the rest of the team step the hell up …Beecher back in the line up…boys better find that push again …we somehow play better when our ass is close to the flames..:go back to the initial line up..:swayman all the way…woll was solid!!! Played great!!! Toronto outplayed us and they deserved to win!!! Go bruins 🖤💛💪!!!

  19. If I am Neely, after practice I am asking everyone but Montgomery, McAvoy, Lindholm, Gryz, Pastrnak, Zacha, Coyle, Frederic, Ullmark and DeBrusk to leave the room.

I would go Herb Brooks and tell them they lose series, they will take it to their graves as the ultimate PO failures.

  20. Lindholm is so dissapointing this season. He always play like a pussy in playoffs. Softest Bruins D in a long time. Sweeny should trade him away this offseason sign Brady Skjei or someone else and ride Lohrei as a top 4 D.

  21. Swayman prevented a 4-1 loss last night. You have to go with him in G6. If Montgomery starts Ullmark G6, then you fire him before game begins…lol.

  22. Monthy don't give a shit about net front trafic no matter on PP or 5on5 and this is one of the biggest holes in his coaching in my eyes. Also i would like to see a lot more slot shots

  23. Pastenak is an absolute train wreck. That turnover is EPIC Pastrnak. Surprised it didn’t end up in Bruins net as a result.

  24. I think Maroon can go. The guy is an absolute Slug and Reaves isn’t that big a factor. Get that guy outta here

  25. I knew they would lose in 7 but I thought it would be back and forth wins & losses, not blowing a 3-1 lead, AGAIN.

  26. Monty "fixing" what isn't broken. "Fixing" being the operative word eh "Fanduel?" Not that I blame the refs for the loss but WTF, screaming and swearing in McAvoy's face is suspension worthy but the NHLOL apparently doesn't care how it looks that their "officials" suck so badly.

  27. Typical Monty in the playoffs move: "yeah, let's change our goaltenders, that'll work" LOL. Wouldn't surprise me the guy is NOT a playoff coach. Out of his element.

  28. Carl was asked about Joseph Woll (@15.00) and then gives a three minute answer about every other possible thing about the game except the goalie. What kind of commentary is that?

  29. Guys, look, the only reason you’re obsessing over the goalie selection is because, after decades of making the obvious choice of the No. 1 over the No.2 and when the No. 1 fails (the second time) you go with the No.2, you think that this is the same situation and it is not. I swear to God- at this point you owe Bruce Hornsby enough royalties for a beachfront bungalow in Malibu cuz your entire argument comes down to “That’s just the way it is. Some things will never change.”
They could literally go full rotation and these guys would perform almost identically well- AND we wouldn’t be fussing about which goalie goes on a given night. Yes- I will agree wholeheartedly that Sway has been at the absolute top of his game but do you honestly think Ullmark would have put them at a disadvantage in game 1,3, or 4? And do you think Sway would have stolen game 2? This team only wins when they play at their best, with their hearts leading their heads by a half stride- passion and intelligence. Even when the other team plays below their own standards (like Toronto, last night) the Bruins are always capable of finding a way to not meet the moment. And it’s because of this that the Bruins need to manage what is universally accepted as their best asset (the goalie tandem) in a way that ensures the best performance every night. There is no hot hand, there is one position occupied by a two-headed monster. Treat the tandem like it’s one person who sometimes looks like nice guy from Alaska and other times he’s taller and speaks with a Swedish accent for some reason (just chalk it up to goalies being eccentric).
Incidentally, without this 2 headed monster, the Bruins are probably a wildcard team, maybe a 3-seed if they overachieved all season, as opposed to a 1-seed who decided to take the last 2 games off to get a better matchup at the 2-spot. Therefore, it MUST be seriously considered that paying BOTH of them long term is a much better use of capital space than trading one for probably a 2 C and another skater and maybe a what, second round pick? Seriously how much $ is it worth to have a No. 1 goalie hot and fresh every night and if there’s an injury you have a traditional No.1/No.2 tandem? With the psychological variability in this team that drives these performances (like game 2 and game 5), isn’t it absolutely necessary to ALWAYS have a No. 1 between the pipes?

  30. Worth pointing out that the Leafs are 4-12 at home in the playoffs under Keefe. Going back to Toronto is not the advantage some people think i is for the Leafs. I think they'd almost rather play the next one in Boston again.

  31. We win the last game; we change the lineup? All year, we win with a goalie rotation; we change and go with the hot hand? If it isn't broke don't fix it. Auston Matthews may have to come back for us to have any chance. The Leafs were "there for the beating", we gave them life.

  32. Evan! Please look into using a Noise Gate or some alternative background sound remover. The construction clanging and banging hurts my ears. Thanks.
