The Jets are frauds. That’s what they are. And they have the worst fans in the league. Who boos injured players or cheers injuries? Even Boston doesn’t do that. I hope the Jets relocate as karma.

In the slovak Extraliga, this season had the 8th place team after the regular (their my logo is my pfp) HK Nitra win their 2nd league title after barely making it out the qualifiers, beating the 9th, 1st, 2nd and finally 3rd placing team to secure another cup. Safe to say regular season mostly just means FUCK IT, WE BALL.

Hellebuyck winning the Vezina is going to be pure gallows humor. Also, when can we start calling Winnipeg the Leafs of the West? They also have a very solid group of core players who don't give a fuck the second the playoffs start. Schiefele and Conner are absolutely fleecing that franchise.

I'll bet most of the negative comments here are from people who never played sports at the elite level that any NHL player has achieved. Criticizing from your couch littered with food and drink splashed around your giant butt indentation is hypocrisy at its finest. Respect the amount of dedication these athletes put in just to get to this level. Every game has a losing team by definition, but that doesn't mean we need to find fault in every game. The Jets entertained hockey watchers over 87 games this season, in one of the most punishing but skill-based sports on the planet. We should acknowledge that. I know they get paid well to do it, but most of them built their career on the love of the sport, the money came well after that.
Both things can be true. As a Jets fan, I’m telling you, the Avs played out of their minds at the same time the Jets utterly collapsed. Avs are a legitimate team, a true Cup contender. They understand that the only thing that matters in the regular season is making the playoffs. Jets are quickly becoming the Leafs of the West: decent regular season, total embarrassment in the first round. Frauds.
If Rick Bowness comes back next year, if the Jets D remains the same, then count on what has happened the last two years to happen again. Serious changes need to be made, or this team will never come anywhere near the Cup. Start by getting a coach who can adjust accordingly, and some defensemen who understand what defense is.

The jets always said they have to adjust after all the loosing game but they kcuf never do. History will repeat for jets next season, win the first game in the first round and loose the next 4 games and early exit. Buying jets team anyone????
Two things can be true. The Avs are a very good team with arguably the league's best offense; and the Jets utterly embarrassed themselves in one of the worst playoff performances in recent years.

Well, Colorado has an incredible team, MacKinnon, Nichushkin, Lehkonen, Makar. Jets during the regulation aimed only at defense. But somehow this "best" defense sucked. Hellebuyck made a lot of mistakes and defensemen were quite bad…
I think in the next round against Dallas/Vegas there will be 7 games. Colorado is a great team. Why not win a cup again

A year ago, everyone in the league had written these guys off as needing a rebuild but they re-tooled and ended the season with the 4th best record overall. The fact that they were matched up against the cup-favorite Avs, is unfortunate — but any team would have lost to Colorado they way they are playing.
