I was split on resigning him on a min deal next year but we need youth NOW. Cal and Martin arent that whatsoever

  2. FalconSixSix

Someone has to tell him and Martin that they just don’t have it anymore but that they are still loved

  3. ShadowXYZ04

Cal, I love you man… but this team has to move on.

    That goes for Martin too

4th line forward is so far from the top of the islanders priority list, especially considering the level of play cally clutternutz gave them vs. what they can get per $$ in an upgrade. if he is willing to come back for slightly north of league minimum on a 1 year deal and they can’t get a significant upgrade for the same salary, spend the extra money elsewhere and welcome back CC for another year.

Martin though? Thanks for the memories and I wish you the best

And he’s gonna get what he wants, because we’re *too* loyal.

We need to be a little more like Vegas

Time for Clutter and Martin to retire..I didn’t even kno Martin was still on team last few months..We gotta improve, get younger and much better

  7. monkeyhead62

I’m fine with him coming back at league minimum in the Ross Johnston role of 13th forward who plays infrequently

Belmont Retirement Community is closing down. Sorry, friend. Isles are too old and too slow.

We need a “farm out in the country” for these players. We need them to go, but they don’t want to. I guess it’s a good problem, that players love it here and don’t want to leave. But it’s sad.

STH ain’t paying the increase and getting their 10,000 steps walking in from Emerald to watch these guys again It’s Belmont. If he were a horse they’d shoot him

We need players who give us an advantage when they’re on the ice, as opposed to a disadvantage

Can’t even dump our bad contracts to Arizona anymore. I love Cal and Martin but it’s time. No offensive game, defense slipped, hitting isn’t what it once was, Martin had some horrific penalties. Its time. Thanks for the memories. Hope to see Martin in greenport or some place out east but not on the fourth line

    1. Clear waivers
    2. Bridgeport

I love the identity line but Cal has lost steps and we cannot keep going like this any longer
