1. Shot totals in this series are deceptive. Van's defense centre's around allowing outside shots and offense centre's around the opposite, only taking inside shots. So I'd argue game 3 was actually pretty even in terms of play despite the shot totals. Game 4 was a different story though. All Nashville except for like 5 minutes, they played a near perfect game – just a dagger of a loss.

  2. The Canucks’ strategy seems to be like V For Vendetta. Let the other team open fire on you, mostly from the outside, and then late in the game, when they’re tired, you still have enough gas to go, “my turn!” And just annihilate them. That’s a risky way to play, because you’re counting on a lot of bounces going your way in a short period of time after you’ve taken a lot of punishment, but it worked last night. You run the risk of, even if you win, being totally banged up for the 2nd round. But we’ll see.

  3. Look, we all know asking a goalie to win 16 games in the playoffs is a tough task. Asking 16 goalies to win one measly game each? Surely that is a champtionship formula

  4. I think they need to take the "A" off Petey, he just doesn't want to be a leader or have extra pressure on himself. He's a cerebral and quiet dude. I think every time he's supposed to act like a leader, he fails. If he is just a player, focusing only on his play, he might get better. He's uncomfortable with the press, and you barely hear him speak. He's really better just sticking to his game without distractions.

  5. Knock it off with the ‘Canuck Luck’ thing. It has never, and will never, explain anything. There are no curses, or omens. If you don’t see the reasons behind events, it doesn’t mean it’s not possible to see them – only that you don’t see them (yet) and may never agree on them (ever).

  6. Petey seems very hesitant to shoot, worrying that if he misses everyone including himself will be disappointed.

Id rather him go full crazy and shoot for those 1% goals than do nothing

  7. ARGH. Nobody is commenting on how the reason Sissons hit the post was because Petey’s backcheck forced Sissons to shoot on the backhand and extended. It rolled off his stick just like it did initially to Boeser on the tying goal.

    No Petey, no win.

  8. Hopefully they are waiting till the series is all but won to run all the greasy Nashville players that ran Desmith, double teamed Huggy and crossed checked Petey. If there is no response for that, especially for Petey, I think there is a problem. Hockey karma gods got Nashville last game. You disrespect the game of hockey when you consistently run star players…..

  9. To add more crazy, Abby Canucks win the playoffs series against Colorado Eagles in overtime with their backup and backup goalie 🤣🤣🤣

  10. That is not what he said. Silovs said-he played for Latvia for World Cup (not in Latvia). It was rude and out of context-especially that they got out bronze with DeSmith as a USA goalie and Galland playing for USA.

  11. It's not just that they came back down 2 goals, they've done that before in the playoffs vs the Leafs in '94. It was the fact there was less than 3 mins left in the game that puts thIs game as the most astonishing comeback in Canucks history.

  12. I've been waiting for someone to say MAGICAL so I can tell them to listen to this in YouTube……….Katy Perry – Roar (KP5 Tour Concept – Studio Version). Since 2017, these is the unknown theme
    song of the VANCOUVER CANUCKS.
