  1. I've watched a lot of hockey and that stupid cross-check at the end was the dumbest penalty since San Jose-Vegas a few years ago. I'm afraid the Canucks have very little chance unless Skinner goes into diabetic shock during every game. They have one chance – stay out of the box!

  2. Vancouver shouldn’t go any further. The downtown area is still rebuilding after the last mostly peaceful riot.

  3. The last time the Oilers played the Canucks in the Playoffs in the 2nd Round was 91-92. This is ONLY the 2nd time the Oilers & Canucks are doing the Round II Man Dance for the Division Title. She's gonna be one for the ages, like the Battle of Alberta 2 Playoffs ago. Both Barns are gonna be loaded & loud and ready to cheer. Tighten up chin straps and get ready for some nastiness to ensue. #LetsGoOilers #MossPit #OurTime

  4. That cross check was not called at any other time during the game. Players on both teams did it over and over. Suddenly with 30 seconds left that is called? Don Cherry's don't call penalties because it will upset the game continues. Until it doesn't

  5. Oilers fans think they have a chance. They're about as cooked as the oilers themselves.

  6. What a story this Canucks team is. Don't think much was expected of them this season, then they win their division. Despite winning the division, don't think they were really given much respect coming into the playoffs. Then Demko, the backbone of their team goes down with injury early in the series. Then DeSmith gets injured. Third string goalie comes in and pitches a 1-0 shutout to win the series on the road in one of the most hostile buildings in the league. Just amazing. Congrats to all you Vancouver fans.

  7. Only thing we need for this next series is little boy Patterson to show up and play for that 92 million for 6 years prove that are many is worth going to you

  8. I hate the canucks but I am just genuinely happy for them and their fans. Rooting for the oilers in Round 2 tho. Well done canucks.

  9. Canucks fan for 20+ years. I hope we can go all the way. The team has the skill and the grit to pull it off but honestly? I’m just taking it game by game. Considering where this team was a year ago if the Oilers knock them out I won’t be mad, it’s been an amazing season with lots to build off of

  10. The watch parties were insane. I think winning this series also takes a lot if pressure if the boys. We playing with house money now.

  11. BC is my second home so will be cheering the Vancouver Canucks on alongside the Maple leafs hopefully they both go deep into the postseason

  12. What do you mean people wanna play in Nashville? That's the home of country music and there's nothing in all of time and space that's worse than country music!

  13. For almost the whole season, I would have said keep Hronek and let Zadorov go. But unless Hronek has a giant series against Edmonton, Zadorov is a better playoff performer. He won’t score a ton of points, but he was really effective in round one. Hronek is an RFA, so they would get something substantial for him, whether it’s via offer sheet or trade. Turnover is part of the cap era now, so I’m not too concerned about that.

  14. Canucks are a great story. This playoffs experience is great for them. I absolutely love Rick Tocchet as a coach, but enjoy this moment Canucks fans because Edmonton is going to steamroll you. That’s not a knock on VAN, just a compliment to EDM. Oilers in 5, but the sting of this series loss fuels VAN to even higher heights next year.

  15. My answer to your question at the end, yes. I mean, theres a clip where he was asked whos gonna win the next Stanley cup in preseasm before he was drafted into the league. He, and i quote, said "The Vancouver Canucks, easy choice."

  16. For real Canucks fans who follow the organization closely, not just their favorite player…we are well aware of Silovs. He's a proven big game player. Not your typical "third string" goalie.

  17. Nashville's defense was absolutely SUFFOCATING for our Canucks. Saros and the Preds defense has to be the strongest I've ever witnessed. With The Canucks being able to squeak by I really don't think Edmonton will be able to replicate that kind of defense so now our boys can actually go back to putting up big numbers and the defense will keep doing what they do. This series will be absolutely electric and as a Canucks fan I am perfectly fine if the Oilers take the series to go on and win the Cup. I'm a "GO CANUCKS GO!" kinda guy but I am also a "GO CANADA" fan as well.
